Hi Dockap, Thank you for being open about your involvement. I grew up to believe that if something is secret then there is something bad to hide. the fact you clearly admit that there is secret ceremonies does raise my eye brows towards suspicion. Clearly if there is nothing to hide then why is it secret? Forgive me for my naivety but as stated in op alot of people around me are banging on about it and i just wanted to know what all the fuss was about.!
Hi,There are many degrees in Freemasonry and each degree has its own passwords and other signs so during each ceremony only the masons who have qualified and have been initiated into that degree can attend that ceremony Freemasonry was formed during the time king Solomon s temple was built and during that time they were actual masons and depending on their skill they were raised to higher degrees and each degree has its own passwords and secrets so that the junior masons could not attend the meetings of the senior masons. this has continued in the Freemasons lodges today hence the meetings are not completely open to the public Freemasonry is not against any religion in fact irrespective of the religion of the Freemason all of us worship God in the Freemasons lodge we allude to him as 'G' the grand geometrition of the universe
lol. All it needs is a dogmatic book of rules if it doesn't already and you get a gold 'certified religious nut' sticker for your car.
Hi DOckap, Ok. Not 100% convinced about what you are saying here, why secrecy if there is nothing to hide. What degree mason are you..? You don't have to answer that question if you don't want to.. Regards
define religion? at the end u will end up with the same ideology behind all of these groups..wish my English is better but not.
I totally understand you Mr.Bigtime. Just wanted to know where you were going with your comment. Thx.!
Religion is a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of life and the universe, especially when considered as the creation of a supernatural agency, or human beings’ relation to that which they regard as holy, sacred, spiritual, or divine. Seeing as the discussion of politics and religion is forbidden within a Masonic Lodge I hardly see the synonymy here.
My guessing or understanding of the Freemason lodge is I figure its like a young boy with a treehouse. "no girls or Homer's allowed" etc.. You would invite your best friend or friends over and turn it into your clubhouse like the little rascals. Then you got your secret knocks and you decide who joins, do the blood brother thing etc. On another note, I heard that they help out there fellow members financially when in need? I need to join!
