only thing i care about is getting a gold medal. ive broken a few records of you guys, which i thought was pretty cool. did you see the pictures i posted ? ive taken 2 i think. love the game myself. cant wait to play tommorow again ^^
yeah sounds like a good idea. i have to add a few people though. think i will play after all tonight, **** dinner, **** the tv, and **** mr. bigtime's records
If I remember rightly they go down to a minimum of 40 with edge detect AA 4x I think (Cat 10.10e drivers). Certain areas are better than others, coming into the foresty bits usually start the lagging for example whereas in the desert terrain I will get roughly 50fps with other cars racing around and it's fairly smooth. Edit: It's not the frame rate as such, I'd be ok with maybe 35fps if it wasn't stuttery. Hey Guys can I join the list, I'll be crap tho but nevermind!
Oh yeah has anyone tried that morph AA on it. I put it on (nighttime race) and it felt like I was playing NFS IV about 11 years ago - weird!
If you mean the v263.09 ones, which are for the GTX 580 and GTX 460 S.E. only, then they don't unfortunately as I've been testing them over the weekend (EVGA posted them up on their website before NVIDIA). I suspect it will be a few weeks at least before AA support is added to a driver set so we'll have to be patient.
Somebody needs to open a NEW TOPIC for HOT PURSUIT IDs to put them in order..i already lost people here.
Anybody else getting negative Crossfire scaling? I´m getting 50fps single card and 35fps with crossfire enabled. I´m running 10.10e BTW
I'd laugh but I had plenty of experience with that when I had HD 5870 CFX so I won't. I know how frustrating negative scaling can be, especially if a game won't run at 60 fps on one card (as Blur didn't for me for example). Unfortunately, you'll either have to play the game on one GPU (at less than 60 fps) until AMD add a CFX profile for the game or use something like RadeonPro to see if you can force an alternative CFX profile from another game. The waiting is the reason I've ditched multi-GPU gaming for good; I just can't stand waiting one to three months for my new games to be supported properly and by the time they are I'm playing something new anyway.
Yeah, I´ll be moving to a single card setup soon for the same reasons... On a different note, is the multiplayer any good?
