Hmm, looks like the HD 6800 series has a good peak temp, but 50 C min? Isn't that pretty hot or normal?

For Furmark, thats about normal, i've saw cooler myself, but thats nothing to be worried about.

Actually, it is a touch toasty, my min there was only 38c, but it would depend on what the GPU was doing beforehand, as well as the ambient temps for the country the card was tested in, im in a cold country, so...

MLAA visually reminds me of the old nVidia Quincunx anti aliasing, where it causes minor blurring in the scene, same with the post process AA done in ePSXe's OpenGL2 custom shader

    Probably similar to Adaptive Anti-Aliasing.

adaptive tessellation means exactly more details where they are needed...and superb performance...without sacrifising visible visual quality...and dont forget new anistotropic, new antialiasing...that means...it will beat nvidia and in texture quality...haha..!!

It sounds like a driver trick to me, and AMD still haven't managed to improve tessellation.
The consoles use adaptive AA because they aren't powerful enough to do full screen AA, its obviously the same thing here with these cards.
How many people here would be in favour of adaptive AA in PC games?

I also see no reason why this would be a hardware feature, so wonder if its going to be available to those with 5k cards?

No no, tesselation unit have been "enhanced" too, nothing to do with this feature only ( software feature.) there's some little change on other " parts " too...

Hope so, but guess we will find out soon enough, not sure a performance setting was needed for games, so far no game has used it so much that it had much of an impact on performance anyway, and using it on a benchmark is obviously cheating.

By the way, didn't ignore your PM, im at work, and not easy to open them.
