Little increase with my new 950 # 3016B023 # . Just start testing this cpu... Need find the right spot as it look to like any multiplicator, but need new memory kit @ 1800-2000mhz ) I7 950 @ 4420mhz (192x23 HT on ) / 2x HD5870 @ 1020/1281mhz 3DMark Score: P32'439 3DMarks CPU Score: 27'203 Graphics Score: 34'663 http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dmv=2583549
A pity i didn't take a screen shot of my vantage bench after the test was done. Hit a new record for 27.3k for my gpu, cpu score not so good obviously. With the latest drivers got 80fps for both graphics tests ran it on vista 32bit and got better score compared to win 7 64bit. Gpu clock should have been 950. http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dmv=2584676
i feel proud for euro/performance value/ratio...haha...epic for "mid class" 2009 cards :3eyes: 2 5850 babies which serve me well..until hd 6xxx great master comes...:biggun: if these mediocre cards serve me well...who needs nvidia anyway..?? hd6000 i cant wait to put these new babies in my case... AMD ftw...
Why is one score at 16k but the other at 31k? I see both gpus enabled in both tests. I didn't know vantage ended becoming just a gpu test.
In the OP No.2 member ranking(Glenboy) Has 3 5850s and about 33000 score, So will I only get a 4000 score increase with another 5850? Just seems a bit weird thats all. [hwbot] 29159 -- 2x 5850@950/1200Mhz -- i7 860@4Ghz [/hwbot] http://service.futuremark.com/home.action
still improving on ATI side ;-) This bench was done incl. Physx ... but on the other hand I have no i7 980x, no fast Ram, no 480 SLI and no LN2 in here ... and just 1000W PSU :arnie: ... here is a pic of my rig .. just finished installing my stuff into its new home ;-)
Here is one I ran with cowie's gtx275 lightening. Got a shiny new Tek-9 Fat today....I lke it. Very easy to use. No need for fast pouring. Really heavy copper!!
She can't take much more o'this capt'n! Yes Im on a custom external water cooling rig with full waterblocks on everything including ram. See my link above for the build log.
http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dmv=2591490 http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1430342 seems like i am making good progress cpu side. i would love to overclock these video cards but the VRM's just heat up too much, well over 100c sometimes hitting 120c. anyone have any recomendations on VRM cooling? i have the non reference cooler. (the two red fans) im not sure if i really want to hwbot my score cause i still hold a sweet score for my old phenom system. 40th. and i dont think with these video cards i'll get anywhere near the 38k top spot atm. lol
The score of Glenboy is old (frontpage are no more updated ).. maybe he was get some problem with trifire .. i have 35K GPU score ( @1020mhz ) with 2x 5870 .... ofc, the cpu OC will count a lot for increase the score and don't bottleneck the cards.
49,000 CPU score, WITHOUT PHYSX my newest Vantage run, got my CPU score up to 49,000+ not bad for no Physx 43,000 for GPU with 2 video cards I have ran with my video cards overclocked higher before, so I will try and get my GPU score higher next Uploaded with ImageShack.us
