    Blasphemy!!

@Hunter, yeah I got Arma2 installed but tbh I spend so much time on PR I don't play anything else..

Haven't found any faults yet..but I'm not quite as "discerning" as you wen it comes to drivers ..:p

The biggest problem I have is w/ the scaling bug, fuzzy textures, and AF looking ****ty, I'm happy with any driver that doesn't have these issues. :)

Hmm, but it seems custom resolutions screw up the status quo of my desktop:

Creating Custom Resolutions crashes the control panel. ;(

Hmmm strange, I cant install these? Says "file is missing" error again, but both my GTX460 & 9800gt is on the inf?? Anyone, any clues?

Nevermind I just needed to reboot, works fine now.

    Not so good for me...

    Replacing 260.89 BETA.

Installing over existing driver; no SLi, nVIDIA Control Panel hangs and then will not load after Restarting PC.

"Clean Install" failed the first time. Second try results in the same issues as installing over existing.

System Restore back to 260.89 and all is well.

I am not even going to bother with Driver Sweeper, current drivers work well.

EDIT: I had to vote Worse, since the driver disables my SLi and the Control Panel was unusable, even though I did not try them for games or benchmarks.

    lolz:D

no i always played racing games with a keyboard, i can't stand playing with controller... maybe if i had a driving wheel, but then again i don't play them that much, so a keyboard is just fine lol

as for the driver i think i'll pass, im happy with this new old 198.25Q :nerd:

Keyboard?? :) I would rather play with 360 controller (i use often), atleast you get anologue steering. I played with the keyboard when PC still was a baby as a gamesystem, bc then there were no usb or handcontrollers for pc. You had to play with a keyboard?! ;) But why now, specially games like F1 where steering (perfectly to gain time) is important, keyboard isnt the most accurate controller for racing?

Now i'm a firm believer that IQ doesn't change in drivers , but i just tried left 4 dead 2 and the textures are of higher quality pin sharp. Has the game had a texture upgrade?

Interesting , may just be seeing things. Can anyone else confirm?

Will wait for more feedback before I try these.

Im still on 260.81 driver. Can someone link me to the 260.89 beta pls? I did not know that they were out already.

    Thanks.

260.81 have been great for me so far, no issues in any games.

    EDIT:

Just found 260.89 driver getting some really slow download speed with 260.89 from Nvidia site, also what is the difference with a "developer driver"?

    Thanks.

yea i noticed that too sometimes, well not so long ago, it craws to around 200-300kb/s otherwise 2mb/s lol

yep, i dont like playing with a thumb it feels retarded lol:p i prefer exact key strokes with a keyboard.

I use some fake ps2 look a like speedlink pad but only if i really need to, like for Shaun white snowboarding or dmc4 or fighting games, but thats it..

btw aren't we all going a bit off topic here lol:nerd:

so you all say they're a bit sharper? what about perf. is it the same and any unusual fps dips?

Seems to work fine with one card, but CPL hangs if I enable SLI.

So you steer with a mouse?
Tbh I couldn't imagine playing racing game using mouse as steering wheel...better for fps imho...
