I tried these and went back to 260.78. They're not as smooth and I lost some performance in Dirt 2 and F1 2010.

    Photoshop :p

Nah IDK, I just ran the app and that's what the results were. I don't even know what DPC latency is/does lol

I must be the only person that doesn't have custom res problems..did you try my suggestion regarding your monitor driver?

Here is my custom res - 1600x1200 @90Hz:

ah ok, it looks like G80 has some fancy hw control and no dpc what so ever.. Im not sure but i think i saw something similar back in the days with my old G80 8800gts in winxp - very low latencies:nerd:

OK, still not sure wat DPC is..

BTW OT - I just bought a CM N620 CPU cooler and it kicks ass, dropped my temps by 20c over my old Thermaltake cooler. Only just fit inside my case tho.

    ^
its the latency inside your pc between the components, if there is a problem with a component it shows high latency spikes..

sometimes its due to improper IRQ and I/O operations if they're both set wrong,.. not 100% sure though but it looks this way.

With this driver when I enter in BC2, at main screen when I choose to log in, settings revert back to 1024 x 768 from 1680 x 1050. 258.96 did the same thing. 260.63 did not. Performance wise 260.63 has better FPS.

Works well on my work system with a 7300GT and Xp, and on my Home system specs below.

No, it's meaningless. Consecutive runs of vantage can easily generate a spread of 500+ points, even given the exact same config, drivers, and setup.

Works OK with SLI Patch 0.9b, no crashes or other issues.

SLI compability bits for "Formula 1 2010" are not optimal, i gain 10-15% or 10fps with 0x00F00085 instead of what's being given by driver. Use Nvidia Inspector to change/edit game SLI profile. Dunno how it is for DX11 cards, F1 2010 plays DX9 on my SLI GTX260s

    EDIT ///

Dunno if it's coz I'm testing CPU OC with Prime95, but as soon as I opened Live Messenger, driver crashed but recovered...

CPU OC, 4.2GHz, 1.344v load: TRUE Black with 2x 120mm (Antec TriCool @Max) ...50C at Large FFTs, 57-61C @ Small FFTs..but then there is this new P95 v26.2 with new 'Core 2' code and which gives errors more easily than prev 25.11...

More or less these are the same as 260.63 for me.

However they do improve Starcraft 2, and STALKER COP benchmark has risen by around 5fps which is nice. Other games are identical. W@W seems a little smoother online but I think that is because my ISP was being a bitch and had a lot of f'k ups lately.

Have not tested Dirt2 yet as some people have said it breaks this game. Not been playing a lot of that recently but I shall give it a blast and also GRID seen as they do use the same engine.

Overall these are good drivers for me as were 260.63. One thing I am very happy with is internet video playback has been fixed. Before I would watch a video on the net and half way through the video stream would lag and the fps on that video would become laggy even though the whole video had buffered already. I though it might be my browser, flash, or java, but nope. After installing these drivers I get no more laggy video playback.

he he, yes you must not uninstall your Chipset Drivers, also first uninstall it the
normal way then after reset use Driver Sweeper 2.5.0.

you wont see any in Grid, and in dirt2 its when you see that 3d flash between cut scenes etc.. in the benchmark its in the 2nd 3d flash -its when it shows the cars right before they start to race.

Its fine if i re run the test while in game if i quit its the same, but it doesn't matter it was fine before with older driver even in the first try.

imo they ruined something, i posted at nv so hopefully they're gonna fix it.

Im guessing your right that it something the broke on older cards, as Dirt2 is fine for me.

Don't know whats been changed, if anything at all positive has changed when it comes to the fermi cards, as performance with Dirt2 is lower with these compared to the 258.96, only by 1fps but still...also noticed that i gain 2fps by running Dirt2 with 16xAA instead of 4x:wanker:

Testing these last night, as well as the 258.96/259.32 Fifa11 and PES11 both feel smoother, especially Fifa, and the AVP DX11 benchmark is now around 5fps higher in the more intensive bits.
I did notice SFIV performance is pretty low, not bad, but compared to my last GTX260 bench in August, well,.....

For some reason my temps went up quite a bit in one game (AOE3), up to 88c. Odd this being an older game which never went above 76c before this driver.
