yeah, me too, but Vantage, Unigine, and even Crysis scores is what helps sell cards.
Quite often i will be pleased at visually stunning benchmark getting great scores, then i will start up a visually average game, and get average performance, which is nice and annoying.

Trying to bench as many games as possible, with as many drivers as possible at the moment before testing these, its boring as heck, but at least i will know which ones are best for this card, for the games i play.

I didn't have much problem with 260.63, and this one isn't much different for me so far.

 

Interesting enough. Single GTX 470. Gave a positive but got mixed results. 1. My 3D Vantage scores were way up. However, I was clocking 775/1550/1800...which I cannot do now. I max out at 770 / 1540 / 1800 Not a big deal.

 

its here since 260.xx driver and yea its known for some time now.. 4-5 driver releases, that's why i said like i said xD

why all games not fully max out

 

F1 2010 as I said better, Bad Company 2 still sux with gpu load @40-55% but still fps at 40-55, very seldom over or at 60fps. Its like the driver is forcing the gpu to not utilize the gpu to max capasity or something? Almost all my new games are running badly on my 460, much worse than they should.

 

They are all max out , except METRO 2033 and JUST CAUSE 2.
If I max these out framrate drops are to big.

I got GPU load of 97% on both my gpu's in BFBC2. Bad luck for you , FPS is good, min : 69 FPS max : 159 FPS av: 98 FPS.

 

CoreAVC 2.0 still screwed with these drivers "sigh"

No, still dose sh*t stutter in movies with MPC-HomeCinema.1.4.2499.0. on
EVR Custom Pres. **, come on Nvidia whats the problem, why can't you make
a good drivers since Geforce Win7 x64 258.96 WHQL.

It is smoother with MPC-HC+madvr but still got 1 stutter.

Maybe it's a cuss, i hope so gone look at another TV show to make sure.

UPDATE: no, i still have stutters in TV shows and Movies, but with
MPC-HC+madvr the TV shows and Movies play smooth, OK i got 2 stutters but
it runs a lot smoother then on EVR Custom Pres. **, thats one plus point

I've hit a major bug , baldurs gate 2 with widescreen mod is unplayable... the screen goes crazy , was fine with previous drivers :bang:

Had to reinstall widescreen mod and select another resolution :3eyes:

hi after installing these drivers im unable to get the nvidia performance thing to work for overclocking my cpu its just a regular nvidia control panel anyone know how to get the performance program to open

 

200pts is Vantage is just a few mhz on GPU or shutting down your AV app first. Nothing to get excited about. In most cases, 200pts is within the margin of error for a high-end card.

The GeForce 9 cards are all based on G92 or a derivative of the G92 GPU....not really much nVidia can do to further improve performance after roughly 3 years worth of drivers put towards that architecture. nVidia is relying on people upgrading to the GTX400 series cards to turn a profit....so, improving performance on the GTX200 series isn't really in nVidia's best interest. Also Dx10 is done and Dx11 is here...no reason for nVidia to keep pushing to get every ounce of performance from a card that doesn't support the current Dx version.
