We've had an abnormally warm autumn so far, but the weather finally changed over the weekend. There was snow on the ground yesterday morning and all the mountain tops are now white. Forecast says -2c and snow this week. Good stuff!
man i love the winter, it's my favorite season mainly because of the rain, i always go out and take long walks when it rains, i'd love to sing in the rain too like frank sinatra but i don't want to look like a retard with people staring at me lol the Linux penguin yes... the Marvel penguin NO
I dunno, but I think it's just hype and nothing more, but it does feel kinda cold for this time of the year. But hell, bring on the freezing cold, I don't care really Only thing is that heating costs will go through the roof with this kind of media attention. Same thing was for flour, because supposedly, when euro finally reaches my country, the prices for all products that are flour based products(bread etc.) will be a lot higher, then it was before. So, to me it seems just some media bull**** to raise the prices... Call me paranoid, if you want toaranoid:
i wont forget the conversation between me and wife if the first day i got it.. - Some kind of machine is running in ur room? (because u can hear it from next room when even doors r closed. ohh and iam FOLDING so it makes alot of noise) - Well, my new graphic card.
Last couple days have been nice and warm, but we have been getting a few cold nights rather early this year. Gonna have to break out the padded/insulated bras.
can't stop laughing, i always thought it was frank sinatra who sang that song and Gene Kelly was just the actor in the movie, what a FAIL!
Pretty much this. I'm in the Midwestern US, and it was 87F yesterday. (30 Celsius). Our local power company has one of the highest rates in the nation, as does our natural gas company. When it finally cools off for the winter, we are going to pay dearly, to make up the profit margin.Only a matter of what excuse they'll use this year. And if the west gets too many frosts, fruits, veggies and grains will be overpriced too.
Summer (aka unbearable heat) actually ended early here, and it's been ending earlier every year. It used to end in late October, but it's been coming earlier every year. This year the heat's been gone since late September. It's kind of weird. Granted, winter won't be that cold here. The lowest we ever dip is like 35 F, and that's on record breaking years for a maximum of maybe two nights. Just nice that the heat is going earlier.
God i hope so. I love cold winters. But my guts tell me its over hyped, for the UK that is.:wanker: Do you guys think its down to the Gulf stream slowing down.:nerd:
normaly, at this time of the year. i still can wear tshirts..mostly 30-26 C..but this year ..around 15-20 C..i didnt like the weathers attitude.
