hi guys, today i decided to fiddle with my new 460. and this is my first time to OC a card with a shader clock so i'm practically noob with the new cards. is it any different from the old ones? also, i just want to know what kind of numbers should i be looking for OCing? so far i've reached 775core-1549shader-2003mem clocks and looks quite stable, no artifacts on the games i've played so far.

    Hi @ll....
I have several questions before overclocking my card...I don't want to fry my card though....:)
First, Should I flash my bios first? ( all specs are on the left side)...
Second, Should I add some fan stick to my card directly if I want to overclock it?
Third, Should I update my Bios first? (I use AMIBIOS date release 30 may 2006) use NVFlash or any other flashing software?
Fourth, does GeForce 7300LE overclockable? will it gonna fry my card or not?
Five, how to use Riva Tunner? which one is better coolbits, NVTweaks, NVTunner, or something else?
Thanx.....I'd looking forward to some solutions here....
(please forgive my bad english...:) )

    Hi,

Anyone has run nvidia system tool and MSI afterburner together? Do you experience strange behavior or crash? Need some opinions.. :)

    Hi guys,

like you can see from my specs, i have an GTX570.

I´m trying to find the max stable overclock for this card but i´m not sure how to do it.

So far i´ve managed to run MSI Kombuster demo with everything maxed for 20 minutes with 900/1800 for the core/shaders and 4200 for the RAM with 1.025v. I´ve also played some games with this OC.

This means that the card is fully stable? Or should i use another method to test my max overclock?

    Thanks in advance!

any idea about oc'ing nvidia GT 525m on a dell xps L502x? Am using dell system BIOS A06.
the max temp i saw without oc was 81 at stock setting while playing nfs Run.
i also reached 82 when i oc'd it to 678MHz (using nvidia inspector) while playing battlefield3.
i think i should first undervolt it for lesser temps and then go further with overclocking.
so, does anyone knows how to undervolt and the max possible overclock this card can provide without any crashes and all?

    .
Is your Palit reference? Be very, very careful when overclocking it if it is. I fried two of the three Palit 570s I owned and I barely overvolted them.

Your laptop will play Doom 3, Halo, GTA San Andreas, and perhaps, Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare on low settings @ 640x480 / 800x600 /1024x768 resolutions, and only if your OS is in good shape and don't have any issues, such as sluggish behavior, excessive background applications running etc... An overclock may help, slightly, if any at all. Its time to upgrade to a new / newer platform if possible. Try contacting a place that accepts scrap electronics / E-Cycling (NO JOKE !!!). You may find most if all of what you need to put a better system together. Or just bite the bullet and cough up some cash. Good luck ... :)

Those temps are quite high for that card. Should be around 28-32C at idle and in the 50-60C range under load.

What kind of computer is it installed in?
