these drivers are just crap for some just need new driver with fixes since their still no whql probaly means they just working on next driver as these are to broken.

 

If anything here is broken that's you ability to learn.

If 75% people agree that drivers are better, and you still spamming this thread with broken records cry - crappy drivers, what does it tell you?

It tells me that you have no clue how to convert other people suggestions to smooth and maxed use of your hardware.

Consider this as friendly advice.

 

Ya I agree. I've been using the drivers since day 1, and got 1 BSOD after the initial reboot. Till then no problems so far, working beautifully.

 

It is not as much as spamming as relating certain problems that have befallen
members here and as such these members would like to relate those problems to their peers.

Back on Topic The drivers still need fixes with certain games IE F1 & BFBC2
is this related to certain chipsets maybe but we must have hope that the Driver team knows about these problems and will continue to work on them.

I picked up some substantial FPS increases with this driver set. +50 FPS in CS:S alone. ALL my games are faster/smoother with this driver, how do you explain that?

 

I can't, but can be 100 tings that has changed on your computer after the
last drivers you have used, even game patches and chip set drivers and go
on and go on.


Nvidia can only do so much and not more, but sorry if you get +50fps more
then there was, then something was wrong with you computer or software.

Update:

I went back to Geforce 258.96 WHQL, i was getting sick of the strange
problem i had when i play movies, every 10 a 15 min i get slow down in my
movies and series and even some times my player stops working, and 2 a 3
sec later it plays good again, (almost good, plays not totally smooth) i use
Media Player Classic and VLC.

And now with Geforce 258.96 WHQL all my movies and series play good
again, they run smooth like silk

So i now know for real it was the GeForce 260.63 Beta driver, i also know
there are more people that has the same problem as i had.

Now i hope that the new WHQL driver that comes from Nvidia dos not have
the same bug.

Any body have low gpu usage (SLI) in Dragon Age ??

I have 2 GTX 470 and driver 260.63 @ 1920x1080

With AA 8x, AF 16 all maxed out and 2x SGSSAA

But often the usage go down to 25-30% and FPS also down to 35-40 FPS

Any ideas ?

 

haha with that games performance you must be up to the heady heights of double figures by now

How do u check ur gpu usage anyway?

 

I use Everest Logging but I heard somewhere in this thread that sometimes Everest + Afterburner can give you problems. I don't have them.
