hi all. i need ur opinions about a situation.

gpu and memory mhz drops to 405 850 while gaming , after 4-5mins later. (default 715-1800) . And if i choose "prefer maximum performance" , it drops to 405 after 30-40 mins and it lags alot in game.. What can be the reason for this pls ?

so what if i play on old gpu its still fine atm i don't play on 1920x1200 , and cpu is far from fine ty. I play bfbc2 at avg 50-70fps with lowest dips to 38fps, all settings on high, except hbao off, and 2xaa.. its fine but it could be better, it was with other drivers.

and piss off with your sarcastic jokes, you ain't smarter that way either:wanker:

what's the temps?maybe its down clocking to reduce temps but if that's not the case it can be that your460 is faulty cause that shouldn't be happening after 30-40 min of gameplay.

I'm not being sarcastic about anything, I'm telling it like it is. If I see someone spouting out false information I speak out about it. You decided to take it personal instead of a learning experience. You should really learn how to handle situations better.

anyone play cod4 with these drivers on a gtx470 ?
i get freezing and the game crash, like it think i have no card for a second then try to 'recover lost device'
not sure its cause by those drivers because im on a new system, but i cant seems to fix this issue, even when installing other drivers

People are weird these days. They expect a brutally powerful card that comsumes 25W so they could hook it up to their ten years old PSU, they expect it to have twice the power and features of the last gen cards and cost $100 and be bundled with 10 top games.

Powerful hardware requires the rest of the system to be equally powerful and that usually means $$$, it's always been like that. Too expensive? Well either get a real job or be happy with what you got.

Hahahahahahaha 25W is a brutally powerful card, That is very amusing:)

Why are we still talking about this, Nvidia is GPU's and NOT CPU's, so No it's
not Nvidia's fault, it's the engine of the game, What can't you understand about that?????

    Get a life will you:bang:

Still no new drivers, one day to October... Previous drivers (official WHQL) are from 17.07.2010!! Now we have ''only'' bugged (for many users) 260.63 drivers. nVidia, please back to us :(

I wouldn't mind waiting 3 months or more for drivers that have no real critical issues than get a monthly headache with drivers that keeps on breaking thingg....my 2 5870 are still covered with dust on my desk !

    For sure.... :puke2:
But i have problems with nVidia drivers from July 2010 to now, before on HD5830 i didin't have any problems with any drivers version. And before this, nVidia drivers also seemed every few weeks, but now it takes decades.

I just started to experience BSODs and crashing on COD4 MW2, something I've never experienced with my GTX 470. I'm betting it's the 260.63 driver although I've been running the driver since release with no problem. Try rolling back to 258.96 which most seem to agree is the most recent stable driver.

I have a life, mind your own:wanker: and what's that got to do with the driver anyway? lol

yea i know its gpu issue and to some point its cpu too; you are seeing low gpu utilization because the driver isn't utilizing and accessing multi core efficient enough, why do you think its running better on ati gpus?..
now either take it or leave it.

    Think of this:

    1. all the people here that say to you you are wrong, are right.

    2. all the people here that say to you you are wrong, are wrong and you are
    smarter then all of us.

Time and time we have to say to you that it's because of the engine, that
the engine is maxing out the CPU, and thats why there are shutters in the
game, and also that can be why the GPU is not using 90 or 100%, because
    of the **** engine.

But for some reason you only hear your self and not ALL the other people.

On topic: there are still a lot of problems with this driver, but it's still a Beta
driver so it's not a Big problem, we can always go back to a older driver.
