http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SEYwCIc0UjQ Looks like it my friends. Spiritual sequel to my most favorite game ever.
Yeah this is the 2nd Demons Souls. But they had to change the name so they could put it on 360. Microsoft paid their way to have it on their system yet again. RROD fans..you finally get Demons Souls! I myself can't wait, I loved this game, and playing through beginning to end was the most amazing adventure I've experience in a console game. It really felt rewarding taking out those bosses. My PS3 will have another title ready for it it seems.
we europeans are ****ed! we will probably get it a decade after you guys played through it. i havent bought demons souls 1 yet , should i guys ? is it a epic game with epic end bosses etc . Spoiler you will probably say yes, go get it , oh well
tbh demon's souls sold way better then ninja blade so i ain't surprised they made a second game out of demons for both consoles.
It's my favorite console game ever. The only one I have actually played begining to end in the last 2 years. An RPG withpot safety nets and hand holding. Co-op and PvP. You will hate it for the first 2hrs and then like a school girl crush, after it's finished pulling your seat out from under you every time you go to sit down, you get friendly with eachother. You start to enjoy the company and end up holding hands and having some fun in the park. How can you not love it.
i adored this game as well and played it like crazy for a month but after grinding one chapter too many times and becoming so powerful that i made stuff vaporaize in two hits i got bored in the last chapter and stopped playing , though i loved the mysterious light and dark world status.
I still need to play the first one all the way through. Haven't gotten over that initial hump that gets you hooked.
Yea I like when I hook to a game enough to finish it and even play it again. It happened with Demons souls. It also happened recently with DR2, I got hooked. However, there are games I just can't get into : AC2, Bioshock 2, Mafia 2, Starcraft 2, etc.
No seriously I have chills everytime I watch a demons souls 2 (Dark souls) trailer. So many good gaming moments http://www.joystiq.com/2011/05/10/dark-souls-trailer-reveals-october-launch-many-ways-to-die/ BF3 can try to be a GOTY 2011 as much as it wants, but this game will be my GOTY
Well it won't work on PSN until they gat their ducks inline. Once that is all settled it is rather cool how the multi works. Either someone enters your game as a Demon and tries to kill you or someone leaves a msg wanting to join a game and you invite them. Or you leave a msg saying you want to join a game and hope someone reads it and invites you. Most of wich can only be done in your living form not soul form. (it sounds more complicated than it is). If you join or invite soemone to join they Co-op with you until the level ends or you die. If you invade as a demon you just try to find the host and kill him while he tries to finish the level. If you get invaded you still play the level like normal you just have a red demon guy persistantly trying to kill you PvP style (only if hte player can actually locate you wich is hard if you are near the end of the level). Again sounds more complicated than it is in practice. It is the only game I know of that has this kind of multi player function. It's both fun and very frustrating at the same time.
It's a sadistic game with the default difficulty being above what would be rated "Insane" in any other game. I always find modern games to be ridiculously easy but this is the polar opposite of that. To say it's frustratingly difficult would be an understatement. There's a difference between being challenging in an entertaining fashion and being outright cheap bull****. Like all PS3 games it's aliased to hell and back with a sub HD resolution and runs at 30fps and still manages to drop below that. I heard all these rave reviews and I bought it on impulse, biggest waste of money ever. My friends who bought it at the same time as me have the same opinion.
I would disagree with that, this game is about being prepared and treating everything as a proper challenge, when I got the game I was able to reached the Tower Knight before my first death (not including the proglogue sorta death), just take your time don't try to charge throught levels and enjoy the first game in a long time to actually challenge the player.
