It can't be any worse than seeing Intel and nVidia ads every time I start a ****ing game. "RUNS GREAT ON INTEL!!! HERP! NVIDIA, THE WAY IT'S MEANT TO BE PLAYED!!! DERP!" I wish I could punch whoever came up with those lines in the face. You'd think they'd have the decency to disable the crappy ads if it detects your system has an Intel CPU and nVidia GPU, but noooo... :bang:
I stopped using Firefox with Windows 7, it was way too buggy and the download manager wouldn't work properly. I've used Chrome ever since and it's definitely faster than FF and works better.
Loads Google homepage 60x faster ? 60x faster with some pages and not much difference with most sites ?
60x .... maybe on a particular test using a particular code who was no used /supported on C6 .... but nice marketing tricks ...
its 30x faster in some canvas/html5 which now uses gpu accel on chrome 7 (chrome 6 doesnt have it). Otherwise chrome doesnt need to feel faster anyways. I mean, at least on my rigs, chrome and opera feel all smooth (IE9 still doesnt feel that smooth, but it improved a lot). And real speed its about connection. So what more i need? Its marketing to counter IE9 marketing anyways E:!. Most people will see those html5/canvas (which actually no1 uses in real world) and say "oh IE9 its the fastest one"
@Neo Cyrus: That's not a bad idea. Disable the ads for people who already own the product. xD AMD users would rage so hard.
