No clue what you're talking about, no clue.

Bad Company 2 is perhaps the most popular for instance right now. 50% GPU usage, 40 FPS. **** doesn't make sense. The card has additional capacity to render, it can go higher, it's not doing it.

Either myself and many tens (hundreds?) of thousands of people have the same thing wrong with our setup, or its a driver thing.

And since Nvidia claimed to be fixing it, I'm going out on a limb here, and saying it's a driver thing.

EDIT: I mean, the speed improvements you see in driver release notes, where do you think they come from? The sky?

My GTX 480 is also doing 50-55-60% of GPU usage in Bad Company 2, and I get 60 solid fps with Vsync. So obviously, GPU usage doesn't seem like the key point here.

Really Nice Driver so far ;0). Metro 2033 is running GREAT om these drivers even though FPS goes under 60 somtimes it still feels smooth as butter. 1900x1080,High Settings (Very High KILLS this game in some place in the game), DX 11, Depht of Field off, Tesselation on, 4 x MSAA ;0) Never under 50 FPS and goes up to around 90 (100% GPU usage). Mafia 2 for me is still S.. only uses about 60% GPU and Physx killes the game after Chapter 7.

So you're saying that, with higher GPU usage, my FPS wouldn't be higher. Impossible.

GPU usage is measured in clock cycles. Your 480's gonna get more done per clock cycle than my 470. At the same usage, your FPS will be higher than mine.

If my 470 were being used 100%, I would maintain a constant 60FPS. It definitely is the problem.

GPU usage aside, is the micro stuttering in dx11 gone now for BC2?

Oh I get it... I think this is for Quadro cards. Except I modded that inf remember, so I guess this got through as well. Explains why it wasn't working perfectly though.

I can confirm this, however my display still reports 60Hz, so it's cool.
