I played Duke Nuke em 3d and Loved it and will give this one a try and hopefully it will be worth playing.

How can something not released be already outdated? Makes no sense. Oh wait, if they add achievements into the game, everyone will buy it and think it's awesome.

 

Nope, it's a PC game primarily. It's been developed for PC all these years. The build that Jace Hall played last year was PC (he was using mouse k/b config).

A lot of people have said that the people who will care most about this revelation will be the people who have been following the development since the Duke3D days. 13 years of following a product is a long time.

"Stalker" was originally an outdated and endlessly delayed game but this didn't stop it from becoming a big success (i'm a big fan of the game) and it wasn't even everyone's cup of tea, also the word "console port" is something i don't like hear for obvious reasons but tbh this doesn't mean the game is going to be bad just because it's consolized and it doesn't matter much if the screen says "press A and B instead of Arrow Up or Down" nor where the game started on the PC or the Console and on which platform will it be released first, Grand Theft Auto is a prime example, GTA started on the PC and since GTA3 they started releasing it for consoles first then the PC, didn't make a difference, pc gamers enjoyed the game.

as for not bringing anything new, most games out there didn't bring anything new gameplay wise, for instance Metro2033 looked great and it was fun to play but what was new? what's new in Assassin's Creed 2? we're still doing the same thing as the previous one, even Mafia 2 what's new? we're still driving around, doing missions and killing people, still a great game.

 

2K already ruined Mafia II, let's see what they'll do with DNF...

 

It's Duke Nukem, why would you want it to?

 

For as long as the rumours about this game have persisted, I have thought "who cares" because I feared they would ruing it, but the videos and pics i've seen look amazing. It looks like a decent looking odern game with some hard core duke flavour, I hope it has the same voice actor etc...

Am i the only one about who dont care about this game? I mean gothic 4 , or even Amnesia matters more than this game to me. If they delay this game for 5 years, i will not feel sad or even bother. This is like the relative u dont see for years and u dont feel something special to him, to me. Am i alone?

If this did not have the name Duke Nukem, it wouldn't even be news worthy, or do well.

 

If starcraft 2 didn't have the name starcraft it wouldn't have been newsworthy or sold well...mainly because it was a weak RTS...how do you like them apples?
