guys this money is completely spendable, I have savings so Im not to fussed on what I spend it on, the only rule is it has to be cool . A hd monitor and a blu ray drive looks promising at the moment but it'd be cool to see what others bring to the table
Hmm... A bike(a good used one) Take your lady/dude to dinner Take the aforementioned to an awesome amusement park Take yourself to two awesome amusement parks Give it to me and I'll tell you what cool stuff I did with it
a bike..... well I did used to ride for cannondale, maybe I could get a 24" wheeled bmx for around that price, or a 20" trials bike, in saying that Im 27 now and not the fittest dude around lol, I dont have a lady phatkat so no amusement parks or dinner out for me dude
I'm 31, and I ride the hell out of my bikes. If I burst an aorta doing that, then so be it. I love it, and will do it til I can't any more. No lady, then I refer you to the fourth thing on my list.
lol, I found this and kind of liking it, its £60 overbudget but looks so cool, what do you think http://www.bikes2udirect.com/B2139.html
Looks good! I'm not a jumper/trickster, but that's a good start point. There's no reason to not buy a good bike, there is always a good use for them, secondary transport or exercise, or both. That's how my Giant started, a basic bike, then I replaced whatever broke or was too weak. Now, the frame is the only stock part. I also saw this dude on the page, you could get two of 'em... Maybe make a tandem...:nerd: I'll post a couple gratuitous pics of my bikes...
The Giant, '08 Boulder SE. Not a great pic, but I don't feel like takin another one yet. Tora fork with U-turn(LOVE it-80mm-160mm), MRP Bash guard(already saved ma a ring gear or two), TruVativ Hussefelt bars, Shimano shifter/lever combo with Shimano derailleurs and Cane Creek brakes(they'll flip your ass over quick as hell), Shimano 22-32-44 crank and 11-34 cassette, Mavic CrossLand wheels and hubs(oooh, they are the shizz), Specialized seat and post, Salsa SS skewers, Specialized stem and Cane Creek S-3 headset... The Specialized, '09 Rockhopper 29er Expert. 8" front and 7" rear discs, TruVativ FireX 22-32-44 crank w/hollow spindle, TruVativ Stylo bars and stem and post, ODI lock-on Rogue grips(after lock ons, nothing else will do!!!), Profile bar ends, everything else is stock; Tora 29er fork with air spring and damping adj./lockout, Tektro Auriga Comp hydraulic brakes, etc. This is my main bike, though both are my babies. I can't leave anything in stock form. I hated the way Specialized painted the 29er in '09, it was too gay, so I fixed it temporarily. It's getting painted this winter during annual teardown, prolly flat black like the Giant. I like the "murdered out" look....
