honestly wolverine game looked pretty good >.> oh and i dont know whats up with the demo but with my setup i get a avg of like 44FPS... i can run better frams in Crysis:biggun:
mafia2 I just downloaded the pc demo. It runs and looks great. Everything maxed out @1900 by 1200 resolution. I also played the ps3 version and i have to say that the pc version is surely the way to go. Here is a pc screenshot everything maxed out.
On the PC with forced AA it might do, but the 360 demo i played had no AA at all, and was a jagged mess, that and Halo3 always stick out in my mind, and some might not bother, but no AA can ruin even the best looking game. Is that an avg while playing it, or does the benchmark say 44fps avg? If its the benchmark, then don't pay any attention to it, its broken, you'd be better playing through the full demo with fraps on to work out an accurate average. Will need to try the PS3 demo, from video's it looks alot softer, might look less harsh, even if detail is lost.
That's because you must have the supercharged 360 Min fps = 15.5, Avg fps = 26.5 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6KfLWIytVU
Runs great for me, all maxed, physx on medium (Vito cloth only + all effects) and I'm getting around 50-60 fps. Nice
Looked fine to me on a quick run through, even watching half that video it still looked smooth. Framerate is fine on the 360 version, the tearing and lack of AA isn't though. Have to say, that guy has some good framerate comparison video's.
not really, 8800GT would run it fine without physx and bells and whistles and its 3 year birthday is in october/november, 8800GTX was a good year earlier Runs great for me completely maxed at 3840x1024 with physx on medium
Not worth it, it just says you have failed if you try going more than 50 yards or so - i think its certain areas though Locations to visit aren't that bad for a demo Love this game's atmosphere!
Considering the 360 is running DX9C with low textures and no real AA at 720p at best but possibly 480p upscaled to 720p I do not see anything good there ! That is how they run games at 30FPS !
I agree the PC demo is far superior but I still find the AA in that version disappointing as I can hardly tell the difference between it being on or off. It's because it's that low-fidelity crap that doesn't actually smooth out edges properly anyway but just blurs them. From the mid-distance onwards, combined with the post-processing, the game looks horrendously jaggy even at 1920x1200. Car detailing looks rough too because of the lack of proper AA. While it doesn't ruin the game, it's disappointing to see PC games with such poor AA here in 2010 when 85%+ of graphics cards are DX10/11 compliant and can easily handle AA if the games didn't still use the dated DX9! uke2:
The game is a buy for me,6Hrs on the demo and I am seeing some cool stuff. Here's hoping the actual game retains the fun factor, have higher rez textures. The AA well maybe it can be changed. Also people are modding the demo already, hope that trend continues with the game ,and not crippled by the devs.
Just after seeing the screenies ill be buying this without a doubt gonna go pre order now i cant write a sentence anymore without adding a smiley face or sad face ffs i need help
Darren hi, how do u do? u mean % 85 of the PC gamers has Dx10 compatible GPU? hmm thats alot man..r u sure?
Um yeah. Because the first half of the video runs at close to 30fps. But once you're inside the mission building things seem to average 22 to 23 fps with some low points under 20.
