I take it that those drivers are modified and not made available to the public?

Since you can copy and paste, how about the password for mediafire for the download link?
Opps, they are private now, my bad. You must feel so special. How do they compare with beta 2 or 10.7b?

Here's my entry for 'ATIMAN' even being too intelligent. Check the 'Subject ATIMAN' a bit closer, if this dude is over 12 I am surprise.

Ok this is starting to confuse me?

The latest official drivers are 10.7WHQL

    there is a 10.7a, and a 10.7b

    there is a 10.8b driver...

Then there is ATIMAN releasing fake "betas" every other week.

Then we have TwL releasing drivers (this man is a legend!)....

I think I am going to pull my hair out!

No offence but I can not wait to get away from ATI's drivers and go over to team green. Yeah they do not release many drivers but there drivers are a hell of a lot better than ATI. With ATI its either delays, or we get so many drivers (fake or otherwise) that it confuses people on what should be best for their system... I hate the fact that a lot of us crossfire owners (I think this only apply's to 4 series owners) have not had crossfire working since 10.5a and ATI insist on releasing crappy drivers that bring nothing new to the table in terms of performance just features that should of been in the drivers months ago. Over looking a pretty massive bug for us crossfire owners. When someone like TwL has apparently spotted the bug him self and apparently "the pros" working at ATI have either not bothered with fixing it making us older generation card owners forced to buy newer gen products or they simply are just plain stupid.

Crossfire seems to be the main problem with the current drivers unfortunately (And at times certain things around it like Eyefinity.), 10.7 is basically the main WHQL release or any of the hotfixes depending on if you need that functionality. (OpenGL ES, OpenCL 1.1 or AA with StarCraft 2, 10.8 releases being leaked betas and nothing official.)

Can't say much about NVIDIA's drivers, I mean they seem solid and all (Even though there's quite a few variations of them as well but mostly official variants or modified Quadro ones so it's not that bad.) and I also use the latest WHQL in the other computer as it has a 7800GTX but it's not a good comparison for newer features and functionality though I've had no problems related to drivers.
(No problems with ATI Catalyst 10.7 here either however though I do not use Crossfire, using the SC2 AA drivers along with the latest profile app but haven't really tried AA as it doesn't seem to be needed plus as usual with forcing AA there's a rather large performance hit.)

Will be interesting to see what 10.8 bring via AMD/ATI and what NVIDIA can do with their 25x.xx series. (Soon 260 I'd imagine as there's already 259.xx builds.) Mafia 2 should make for a interesting test regarding the latest CUDA/PhysX additions and it'll be interesting to see how quick ATI will bring up a profile either via driver hotfix or application profile release to support the title better, unfortunately for some lower-profile games it can take a while.
(Mostly this relates to Crossfire support as it normally needs a profile for the game via the EXE file to identify it to scale properly but sometimes it can aid single card as well and bring general performance improvements or at times fixing issues and bugs like Anno 1404 DX10 shadow problem initially solved partially via drivers and then a game patch to use a example.)

(Full GT480 512 also looks quite powerful and ATI 6000 series has some interesting rumors but that's for later on, not planning a upgrade yet though things can always be improved on as the PC platform moves forward quite fast.)

ATIMANs driver has the new Theater Mode in CCC. I cannot find that in any official driver.
