Personally very bad fps in BFBC2. So many stutterings here. Back to 10.5

Runs gr8 here, Crossfire working in Metro 2033, Alien VS Predator, SC2, CS:S havn't tested any other games, but so far no problems, no 3d clock errors, or B/GSOD driverrelated.. :) Just good drivers, about time to, that 10.6 was pretty useless to me, so been stuck with 10.5a untill now.. :)

Is there some kind of bug with the 10.6/10.7 drivers because DXDiag shows that my cards have 716 MB of video RAM instead of the normal 1,024 MB? Can someone else check this please?

EVEREST, SiSoft Sandra, GPU-Z, all show 1 GB and 3DMark Vantage's System Information shows 2.97 GB (???) so I assume it's just a bug with DXDiag and the recent ATI drivers.

    Yes, you're right.
It must be a temporary bug in the drivers. I think is nothing to worry about.:wanker:

10.6 is known for had broked BC2 crossfire ... the appliccation of 23.june was fix it.. but it was not completely perfect..

10.7 is so far perfect in crossfire ( with 5xxx crossfire, i have not test with other card) ..... the point is: 10.6 offer a lot of quality for movie playback, this new setting and all the work of AMD on video playback still remain in 10.7 ( look test of movie 'playback, actually ATI is far over Nvidia for it, you can't get better quality right now.. ) 10.7 is pefect so far for crossfire, they have fix this problems with BC2, so you have the quality of movies playback from 10.6 without the problem they had with crossfire ... ( with a little extra for VLC acceleration for H264+X264 movies, as VLC use now DXVA2 + driver compatibilityfrom AMD ).

Offcourse this concern only me and the games i play, i can't try all .

My friend I am getting the exact same problem as you.

I am using TwL genetix drivers (very good performers).

Anything I install after 10.5 breaks crossfire for me too. TwL recently released a 10.8b5 modded driver, I installed that just about 4 times and crossfire simply will not kick in at all. When I installed his 10.5a driver, whola Crossfire works again... It happened to me as well with Official 10.6 WHQL.

I am glad I am not the only one this is affecting.

    And why?
Not problems for me... The only problem that I've encountered with Catalyst, months ago, was my fault (mixing old with new driver with an uncorrect uninstallation).

Catalyst (with Single GPU), works flawless.
    Crossfire not tested.

Always check your operating system, motherboard bios settings, trashware in background... Usually cause many users problem.
