I installed this driver - runs really well so far...
BF:BC2 & Dirt2 running without any issues...
I use the Application profiles from 10.7

I also skipped the 10.7 WQHL & Beta ...

 

I installed these and tried out the internet video setting in CCC which resulted in my pc freezing while watching a youtube video...afterwhich i (maybe hastly) rolled back to 10.5a (after poorer performance in bc2 with 10.7 BETA).

Anyone know how these run with Medal of Honor Beta or Blur?

 

There's a new feature to be presented in 10.8 set, you can have a peak at it now, in this beta) It applies all your current video settings (dynamic contrast, deinterlacing, etc.) to an "internet video", e.g. Youtube or any other streaming videos, be it a flash or something else. Works for me so far, impressive quality without artifacts.



Here it is, Youtube video with Demo Split Screen mode enabled in CCC. On the left - untouched video stream, on the right - AVIVO enhanced.

 

That's the setting I was talking about, caused a system halt for me .. first time I've seen that..using latest stable firefox updated flash etc.

 

If anyone out there could guide me on modifying these drivers so they work on my Mobile HD5650 I would gladly install them and compare them to the 10.7 betas.

 

hopefully these go over better than the 10.7 WHQL. Installed those and just BSOD'd right at the welcome page with atikmdag.sys at the heart of the issue.

Are you using the most current version of adobe flash?

 

Performance in BFBC2/MoH Beta on 5970/crossfire cards is still crappy (less than 60fps on max settings)with 10.7 and 10.8 beta. Back to 10.5 (130fps).

I read a warning about the feature from a user on another forum mentioning that people should disable internet video setting in CCC as it may be suceptible to exploits...

Megaupload so amazingly slow for anyone else? I'm talking 5kbps compared to 850kbps.

 

Blame AMD driver team, not me. That's the way CCC demo mode works - screen is splitted in half, left side is untouched, right side - post-processed. Difference is pretty clear for me.

Anyway, gaming performance is exactly the same as 10.6, which I assume is good since nothing got broken :grin: Tested: Metro, Singularity with 4x\8x SSAA, etc. Vantage score is also the same.
