Has ATI fixed the inability of the video encoder to use the graphics chip to encode video or does it still only use the CPU....

I use Vsync on Dirt 2 (which is the only game I've tried so far)
When there is a cloud of dirt, my fps goes down for about 20 fps (From 61 to 41 or so) So, that bug is still not fixed.
But, the IQ is the same i think.
What i did noticed is that it works smoother than before. Which is nice.

    Just tested.
    GPU usage is like 18%
    CPU usage is like 35%
    So, no

Multi-GPU is much faster; and it's a fact.Give me some arguments/examples that single GPU system is much better than Multi-GPU system :eyebrows:

I would accept Multi-GPU only for Benchmarking, not gaming

So people with 3x 24" or even just 2x 30" monitors have no use for crossfire what so ever?.. i doubt even a 5970 (witch is crossfire anyway?) would deliver acceptable FPS when gaming any decent newer game, AVP, BFBC2, ect.. thats where crossfire shines..

And even i use crossfire, and i only have a 23" fullhd monitor, but since it's 120hz, i would like to be able to run 120fps at least in any game i fire up (not counting crysis) and if you want just a little eyecandy, 1 5870 will not push 120fps in bfbc2 or even AVP.

And issues with crossfire, is almost completely gone. Most of the time it's just minor things, and just 1 game, or 1 set of drivers. if you avoid the "bad" drivers, and dont care what date your drivers are, Crossfire will run like a dream.

I don't have that problems, on my system all it's OK.And if you have the problems with software part - I think this is temporary thing, wait for newer version or new fixes of drivers....
