DO NOT install this drivers if you are using SLI Hack on non SLI Mobos , it just bsod very often and system will freeze. Use 257.15 instead , they are the most reliable and best drivers for SLI Hack. Im using SLI Hack on my little son PC.
    Asus P5Q-Pro Turbo
    Q6600 @ 3.7Ghz
    2x2 DDR2 @ 981 5-5-5-15
    2x 9600GT @ 750/1900/1020 in SLI Hack(0.8b Beta)(working flawlesly with 257.15 Drivers)
    windows 7 x64bit
    Auzentech Forte X-fi 7.1 on G-51 Speakers
    Silverstone OP 1000w
Everything inside a Thermaltake Armor Case well ventilated and cool running.

This drivers 258.96 are a lot of trouble for sli hack :(, if you have the same problems as i do please post some info on this drivers , thank you.

Doesn't make sense.. many sites are reporting them as WHQL such as majorgeeks

majorgeeks are reporting them as WHQL candidates not WHQL.
Still no matter majorgeeks are renowned for getting their facts wrong, still a useful site though :)

^ Where on that page does it say that?
    It is a beta driver.
See for yourself, install it, Windows will tell it is non-WHQL with a red/alert message.

They are correct. Nvidia lists them as "This is a WHQL-candidate release from the Release 256 family of drivers (versions 256.xx to 259.xx)."

These are beta but probably getting submitted for WHQL cert.

Works perfect here (GTX 295 user). No youtube problems and games seem smoother.

Finally a 200 series worth release, as it seems they fixed all issues, and my game performance has gone way up.

    lolz ;)

still have in bc2 some black flattering screen something, either since the r7 client patch or since 200 drivers, and i'm not alone- Maybe its an server issue, cos its very random, non-reproducible atm.

Those drivers up from 256.21 but not include, makes some of my games freeze like from 30-40 Fps it just goes to 25 Fps but with slight lagging or little/small freeze which you can see and it's very annnoying, It WAS NOT like this with 256.21 i'm sure of it.

I tried everything, Vsync On-Off, SuperSampling/MultiSampling/Off , Game included to freeze are - GTA IV + 1.0.7 NO Matter What settings INGAME or in Commandline.txt it will still freeze, there are some points i ran it and there was no freeze only 1-2 times which i was shocked but then after i re-enter the game it happend again.

    and NeedForSpeed Carbon 1.4 Patch.

I have a Movie Clip which i used when i had 4870x2 which runs completely Smooth and i remember i ran Carbon and GTA IV when first i got this card, WHAT is wrong with this Drivers !??#

And what settings should i use if i have 480GTX + 8800GTX and 2 LCD Monitors- 1 TV Hdmi / 2 Monitor HDMI. ----- Single Display Performance mode or Multiple Display performance mode ? does this even make a different on what.

Last Game i played with 256.21 or 256.55 or something was Prince of persia the new one and it worked ok for all game even when using it 3D Stereo , only 2 maps it ran slow which was unplayble

    Sadly, no. GTX 260 aren't DX11. You'd need GTX 4xx series for DX11.

Someone found uninstalling the 3d stereo drivers to reduce the stuttering. Nvidia needs to work on these for the newer cards. I have stutter in DX11 when playing BF BC2. Annoying as f*k
