Ok I just ran a Crysis Warhead bench. I used the settings similar to what the reviews here use but ran it at 1920x1080 instead of 1920x1200:

    258.49: 46.34 Avg
    258.96: 47.68 Avg

    ~2.9% increase overall

I could never come close to 47 FPS before with stock clocks. The drivers seem to be getting better over time.

I love how they only say performance increase with 400 series cards. No more performance for 200 series I guess.

Wish ATi would learn to do drivers like these guys, been releasing bug ridden crap every month for the past 10+ years now :)

In what way is it crap, and in what games.

Its a well know fact that Quadro drivers are optomised for image quality and stabilty with performance taking a back seat, while the standard GeForce ones are more geared towards performance with quality being less important.

Of course you can change this around yourself, but very few people do so.

Guess I'll install these then, I'm currently on those 197.45.

You can't squeeze a raisin and make grape juice. They've been making drivers for the 200 series for well over a year now I'm sure there's not a lot to be gained.

@Barton I can't use any of the 258.xx drivers either with the SLI Hack/Patch. I think xdevs will have to update the patch/hack for these to work. 257.xx fine though.

I can personally confirm these drivers FINALLY fix NWN2's skybox/missing texture bug (present in all driver series with the GTX 480 compatibility).

    REJOICE!

Can someone provide the Nvidia download links for 64bit Win7?? The Nvidia.com drivers site isn't showing them - still showing 257.21's.

They are in the beta section, not the main driver downloads. The WHQL version will probably pop up soon.

Hmmm, the 460 cards should be on store shelves now but there are no WHQL certified drivers to support them.

No driver above 197.45 works for me =/

Can't say I need new drivers atm though =P Still on XP pro, and a old work-horse of a graphic card (8800GTS). ^^

Eh, at this point I refuse to upgrade drivers until Nvidia makes a profile for Splinter Cell Conviction.
