Huh? It still says in steam which games have a 3rd party DRM: Yeah, other than the June 24~July 4 sales, there's also daily sales, the ones where it says "Today Only". :>

I do all kinds of stuff on my droid via phonemypc application. There's no need for apps anymore with this app since it logs me on my desktop. I can come home from work and have stuff downloaded and ready, I can order stuff easier since my home desktop has all the cookies\pw's. If you have a newer android phone flash is out so you could do it on the android browser as well...but with phonemypc I could buy it come home and have it already ready to play..or even have the game loaded it (but once it switches to full screen you cant see the game...only the desktop)
DO NOT enable v-sync from in game, but you can force it through the control panel. If you enable it in game you'll get major slow downs. Wait a minute, how did this sneak into the 4th of July savings thread? Random
For sure! Ignore the haters of this game, it's good fun, especially in co-op! Sure it's not traditional RE, but it's still a blast.

Considering I have bought well over 200 games from Steam including ones with the DRM schemes you have mentioned and never had an issue tells me one of two things. Either your hate for the DRM is so strong you are lying about the crashing, or you had some other software on the computer causing it to crash.
In true FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU nature, I got Dead space for £4.95 on amazon today.... I am willing to bet they will now screw me over for running it for less on a steam one day offer
