True, this game is a memory hog because of so many stuff it needs to render at once. I cannot believe it is more demanding than Crysis. For me, was the same problem with distance and detail at 100.... So I play now with both at 50 and the rest on max, and i do not get so much stuttering anymore, but it is still a bit choppy here and there :3eyes:

Has anyone noticed if having problems with NFS Shift and this driver? The game runs fine but now I can't see any digital gauges (if that's the proper English word) inside the car. Only the analog ones seem to work. Also, the Maserati external view only displays a static low resolution version of the "speedometer", with proper reflections but no numbers show up, weird.

There's something a little off IMO about a site that uses the dreadful Darkest of Days as one of its test games and totally overlooks DX11 titles such as DiRT 2.

Happened 1 month ago because I've do an uncorrect uninstallation and mixed with old & new beta driver.
Try to uninstall from control panel, uninstall the video driver from device manager (windows on safe mode), clean with driver cleaner (ati + ati ccc)& driver sweeper and reboot.
On this topic, you can found a nice batch file to swipe remaining ati files (in the end or if you don't want try driver cleaner / driver sweeper).
You need admin right execution ofc.

So far, these show an improvement for me. After using the last few preview drivers and the modified driver, I was getting poor, sluggish performance in all my games, including WoW of all things. 10.6 cleared it all up though, and everything is running swet and smooth now.

I didn't notice any in Crysis Warhead when I ran the benchmark a few times but I admit I haven't tried the original Crysis on these drivers yet.

Can someone confirm this for me please... have ATI disabled CrossFireX support for Blur with these drivers because I can no longer get it to run on two GPUs even if I use RadeonPro to force AFR rendering using the default Blur.exe file.

If so, then is that their idea of a fix for the water slowdown bug?!?!? Someone remind of why ATI created CrossFire in the first place, please?

went back to 10.5's had lock ups once in a while in WoW with 10.6's.
the driver is the last thing I suspected because Ive had so few driver issues in the last few months.

Nevermind, re-installing the game fixed it.

Reverted to 10.5s as these 10.6s really do not like TRIFIRE.

CF is broken for all games on my setup with these drivers .... These drivers are not recommended if you have a CF setup

well steve- those tweak force drivers solved the fps drop to 0 in bc2 but I still get the random 60fps then randomly drops to 15fps-27fps in bc2,now in AvP 2010 with High texture quality and normal shadow complexity ambient occlusion on,with AA&AF set to 1 and only advanced Shadows ticked in dx11 features with v sync on I noticed it dropping from a solid 60fps to 44 fps and has a sluggish feeling for about 3-5 seconds.
