@WhiteLightning - CrossFireX is working perfectly fine here in both Batman: AA and GRID as I've just checked them both.

Just place the OpenGL library from the 10.4 drivers into the affected game folders and they'll use that instead of the one with the 10.6 drivers. Worked fine for me with Doom 3 which had a corrupted HUD with the 10.6 OpenGL. I posted the instructions on how to do this here: http://forums.guru3d.com/showpost.php?p=3613294&postcount=256

To expand the file just type into the Command Prompt:

    expand atioglxx.dl_ atioglxx.dll

Make sure you're in the correct folder first though.

I think my oblivion framerates went down 6 fps in outsides. I Think it is not only this last driver but all last ones. They are giving attention to newer cards and I think that is affecting older cards

I am looking for the 10.4a hotfix drivers, but they arent any longer in amd site. Where can I get them? or is it the same to get 10.4 + june 18 apps

Well I havent used ati since my 9800 pro 256. Cant even remember the cat # back then but never had a driver problem. Got me a 7800, then a 8800 cause they were the best cards at the price point i was spending. I have now had an ati card since 10.4 and have not had any issues nor problems using cat drivers. And Im on an hd 3XXX series. Im not suprised ati is more focused on the hd5 thne hd4 but i dont see them neglecting older cards like nvidia does. I dont get all of this hate bashing going on and i have been reading about it for years now on here.......

Everyone please go get TwLs drivers in the ATI Drivers section. This cleared all of my problems, and if you have cross/quad fire, I hear they are a must also. I have a single and they work great. Ignore ATI drivers for now, pointless.

Haven't played any games with 10.6 yet but they've fixed an issue I was having watching tv through windows media centre. 10.5 was causing the image to be jerky, blocky, and at times completely lock up. Just in time to watch the All Whites draw with Italy

10.6 is a heap of garbage.

Dropped my average FPS from 60 to 45 I'n Bad Company 2.

I have never had an FPS drop in Burnout Paradise until I installed this driver....NEVER!! I was very suprised when it dropped down to 40fps.

    :puke2: 10.6 .

    I've notice this too :S
Does it drops when you do a takedown?
I thought it may be only a problem from my side. But, looks like it's not.

BTW i noticed some epic fail in GTA 4. I cannot show it because i got black screen when using PRTSC and i am too lazy to install FRAPS....
Anyway... so in GTA 4 it tells me how I now have 2001 MB of video memory available..
Epic fail? I knew that SLI and crossfirex count two graphics cards with 1 GB each as still having 1 GB in total ....

Thats why I smell something fishy about this "Memory Tweak" they supposedly added.

I'm back to 10.5a now, I got done playing TF2 today and for the first time experienced micro stuttering, did an express uninstall and removed the App Profiles, all is back to normal.

The 2 GB of memory showing in GTA IV/GTA: EfLC is not technically correct because both GPUs still only have access to a 1 GB framebuffer each, the memory is not pooled and shared. If I max out all the settings with View Distance on 100% and set Very High Shadows, even though the memory usage shows as 1,037 MB out of 2,000 MB I see seriously bad framerate drops to 2 fps at times when turning 360 degrees on the spot. That's because the game is running out of video memory and paging data to and from system memory, which causes massive framerate drops because my 1,600 MHz DDR3 is much slower than the graphics cards' 4,800 MHz DDR5 memory.

From messing around with the settings I've found that a View and Draw Distance of 50 with Shadows/Textures set to High and Reflections/Water set to Very High is the highest I can get away with without setting things popping into view in the distance when I quickly turn 180 degrees. Seems utterly pointless to me to have the game display 2,000 MB when the truth is the max I use is the same as before (around 900 MB).
