Interesting result there for Mass Effect 2, but did you run the game with physx installed? (you need to install it yourself).

I am going to try these drivers myself in a few minutes (its morning here) and test some.

Meh same for me, ill wait for WHQL's!.
Tried everything to get the profile's to save for the 257.15 driver issue but no lock, i think ive installed those like 20 times now :S... Not going to bother till we get a driver where my SLI profile's are saved once again..

OK, installed them with no problems. It seems they are about the same as 257.15s. Gained whole 3 points in 3dMark Vantage :p Control Panel works good. Will play some GTA4 later.
(oh, and pci-e 2.0 is still disabled on x38).

You do know that nvidia uses a unified driver model?? So what works for ion, works for most others as well?

WOW interesting drivers and some new stuff in the Nvidia CP. Also i notice that gamma aa was off, so i turn it on, and played Jericho, the game looks so much smoother. And Jericho runs really good now, staying above 60 - 129fps, when fighting never dips under 40. So far so good with these drivers.

gamma aa is off because its useless in d3d apps, its only for openGL so thats why they disabled it by default,.

its gonna be upto the respective software programs makers to fix that, and with the newest afterburner being newer than the 275.15 that aint gonna happen yet. on the plus side in actual gameplay with afterburner 1.6.0 final i havnt noticed the stuttering, only in benchmarks

nope, unwinder cannot fix what is broken in the drivers. he can't magically lower the poling rate in a driver set. its up to nvidia to fix that.

links for this info? i don't see anywhere in nhancer or nvidia documentation about this feature being only openGL.

You've been playing Jericho, which isn't that good of a game, with 0 replay value, for like 2 years.

    Lol "LOS LINKS!"

Its been this way for... YEARS.

Put your mouse over the option, it should give a small description of the setting in the lower part of the CP, there it says and I quote "This setting only affects OpenGL programs."

Its in nv control panel, if you hoover on the antialiasing -gamma option it says it underneath..

i dont have the driver atm, but it was something about that this feature isn't supported in d3d only in opengl; i think the principle is the same with older pre 200 drivers, i turned it off with 198.01, 197.59 and i didnt see any loss in aa quality.

Maybe they didnt know it until they found out those supersampling aa modes by mistake, now available with this tool for all gpus 8 series and up and maybe this gamma correction too.

edit: lol i typed long :pc1:,yea like cyberdyne said :D
