would be a good idea to delete the link

this should give very inaccurate volts and sometimes a lot higher then you dialed in. very risky.

Looks like some of extreme overclockers who got unlocked build form MSI leaked it. That is NOT inaccurate at all, this hidden parh it works directly with VRM and unlike reading target voltage it uses VRM voltage sensor to read the REAL output voltage on the graphs, you were never seeing REAL output voltages before. And real output values are supposed to be higher/lower than actual target and fluctuacte depending on GPU quality, load etc. This mode disables 2D/3D voltage switching and requies deep understanding of this VRM voltage control principles. I'd recommend noobs misunderstanding what to expect from this build to stay as far from extreme versionas it is possible.
And thanks a lot to taht idiot who leaked it. Now I have to address all these false reports about "bad version". Damn. Personally i'll think twice about providing extreme version to any overclocker next time.

No. That version is nothing but beta 5 with unlocked unlimited voltage control path via hardware database. And no, we don't plan to give such functionality that to public, I've repeated that a few times already. And extreme builds are intended for only for _REALLY_ experienced extreme overclockers breaking records on different overclocking competitions. Such builds require deep understanding of voltage control principles and not intended to be used by noobs. And seeing like some "nice" guys decided to leak extreme version, I'm not even sure if we'll provide any more extreme builds to anyone in future.

I plan to add a Danger Den water block to my GTX 480 and would like to perform a nice overclock but nothing in the extreme like overclocking competitions or breaking records. However I would like to understand everything about the voltage settings and what/how the "Force Constant Voltage" setting effects or works, my brain is hungry like a dry spoung, please help me feed it by linking me to the knowledge seriously in a PM.

    :)Thanks Systemlord.

Can some please help me find the file to unlock my GPU overclocking frequencies, I'm a huge noob when it comes to RAR, I've looked everywhere for the Afterburner.ini file that I was told could unlock it for me! If I was working with Zip I wouldn't be here asking for help! I did find this >

I didn't remove anything, I copied what was in the fold and that's it, I removed nothing. Naturally I'm confused as to your gratefulness? :3eyes:
