I dont know why but i liked kings bouty alot

 

Dragon Age Awakening, have been busy with other titles like Just Cause 2 but I'm slowly working my way trough the game.
(About 12 hours into it, one main area left to explore though others will probably appear after as it's primarily been about recruiting new companions and maintaining the keep a bit and very little story progress outside some shorter cutscenes.)



(Funny with someone named "Jukka", old Nordic slang word for moving something back and forth, earlier known as Fukka which meant something swaying back and forth and used apparently as a sexual reference, probably what became the English "F" word later on similar to how Sweden has borrowed a lot from France, Germany and lately America and other English speaking countries based on their popularity trough history.)

How do you guys take such high quality JPG shots? I tried fraps but the JPG quality sucked...

 

yeah i capture using fraps on bmp. then i open with photoshop, resize then save as jpg with max quality

it's a great simple yet addictive rpg game and the graphics are a little cartoonish which makes it eye catching and colorful.

download XNVIEW (completely free), its an image editor and a replacement to the pos image viewer in windowsxp/vista/7.

you must capture in PNG or BMP format in fraps.

the open the images in XNVIEW, select the one you want, press SHIFT-S to resize it.

then SAVE AS..

NB. this will only need to be done once:

1) you'll see a button called OPTIONS, click it, select JPEG

then set the options exactly as seen in this image



the trick is to NOT compress the subsampling, often a jpeg compresses the RED color too much causing the image to look too compress, with this trick your jpegs will look great.

I recently started replaying it....that one looks nice and clean with good lighting, most configs i use are too dark. can i have your configs/tweaks/mods list please?

Well looks like SLI is working :banana:
Can't wait to play it tomorrow with my G25. I played the PS3 version and it doesn't even compare. Graphics, sounds, smooth & responsive gameplay.
