I just looked it up and that mobo is $150, a reasonable price, good to know. I was expecting it to be more.

Oh, i don´t consider that prize high at all.
Now eagerly waiting for reviews of the 6core.

Have i read or misunderstood that 6core works with 790 chipsets on AM3?

Edit: I´ll leave my stupid question for all to see, when i already have read the answer... -.-

Another edit: Which one you have? Black Edition or the other?

Nice, man that card is big. Still if the GTX480 is too expensive then I shall be going for x2 5870 xfire seen as its faster than a single 5970 (yes I know more expensive too). But I maybe building a second system soon too and that second 5870 will come in handy.

No I don't think so because no motherboard manufacturers have stated support. However, I wouldn't be surprised if this policy changes.

I will back the 'No' too...I have a AM+2 MB, with a Phenom II Quad 3.4ghz, that can only handle that.

Im thinking some will support the 6 cores, im looking at a 790 chipset at the minute and hoping that will, im more interested in the 95W X4 tho.

They really look nice but they won't make a difference when it comes to gaming. I, personally, wouldn't mind having one of these beauties for EVE; running one client per core will be great for fps.

Theres a few places saying the 7 series will support 6 cores, the bios's are waiting for validation (from gigabyte that is anyway)
