I don't think so, the name doesn't ring a bell. But who knows, could have been.

I just tested Side's 197.25 modded, and BFBC2 gameplay with "quality" inf was noticeably slower than regular in 197.25. "Performance" inf''s screwed up the image in game (big black texture) when I switched from 4xAA to 8xAA. Resolution was 2560x1600, 4-8xAA in-game, 16xAF. Average fps with regular 197.25 maxed settings from control panel moves from about 40 upwards, usually around 55+.

But I appreciate driver modders anyways!

those modded drivers suck hard in BF:BC2, because they increased texture mapping, got huge lags/stutter on my sec pc with 8800GT

    in other games they ok

Ok no problem, but my question still stands are the 197.25's modded or not!

I would instantly install any new modded driver that got the MadVR renderer working again. Thats something nvidia broke from before 190.xx and still have not fixed.

I always wondered how some people say they see an improvement in image quality when every driver I've tried, whether modded or not, has given me pretty much the same IQ always?

I remember using modded drivers back during my geforce 4 ti days, seems people were always recommending them back then. Don't know about now though. I just wish someone would fix the aspect ratio options for the nvidia cards, God for some reason I could never get them to work, ever :3eyes:

I'm not sure you can blame nVIDIA for that as madVR never stopped working for me. Maybe it's related to something else or broken on SLI ?

I liked the excellent installer this Porto Rican fellow used.
Anyone could uninstall the old drivers without any traces of redundant files.
His drivers performed better on any OpenGL game as well.
I may give them a try when they come out.
    Thank you

It could be sli related though there are people who also have problems with non sli setups too.
