My first impression was a 7800 series derivative.

They look to be from dual card setups, like a 7950 or something. One of those funky ones that use an adapter that plugs into the bottom of the cards to make it PCI-E full length. Note that one card has a display port on the top, one has the SLI connector, the others have plug-ins for dual card setup. Almost looks as if a prototype for a quad card setup, although not sure could just be an add-in physx standalone card (hence the PCI-E X1 connector).

Hm, well they are not all the same though; like nightwalker pointed out

The top right card has a DVI connection on the bottom left of the card, which the others do not, it is also the only one with a NV logo on the fan.
The bottom left card has a SLI connection (?) on the bottom left of the card, which the others do not.

It also looks like the top right and bottom left have shorter PCI-E connections but I can't tell. Hmmmm

I'm gonna side with Anarion, it looks like it has dip-switches and the power section looks more like the 6800 series but with more phases.

That was my initial thought as well. These could all be "second halves" of former dual-pcb cards. Hence no display ports, etc. So, CyberPunk7t9, is this a riddle, or did you just stumble across this picture and wonder yourself?

woah wait a second.......i remember talks of games being pre-rendered to be sent over the internet to be played...

you know games that people dont need a gaming PC or console for??

maybe these are cards that dont have any display connectors because the video is sent over the internet to peoples computers weather it would be for games or for other applications that need 3d rendering and other GFX accelerated material???
its like playing on your game console, while your console is in california and your are in new york playing the games on the console in cali....

    crazy sh*t man!

i wish i could find the article i was reading on this new "futuristic" gaming experience....

but im pretty sure that what these cards are for!!

EDIT: i see the DVI connector on the top right card.. but i think its still think that all i said is very much possible

Why would a PhysX card have a SLI connector? :3eyes:

My guess is that this is some Quadro prototypes from the 7800 era.
Possibly some weird quad-SLI prototype since only one of the cards have a nVidia sticker on the fan,in other words it's the part that is visible when assembled. :)
