As the title says, I've got nothing to play right now. I finished Far Cry 2, Need for Speed Most Wanted, UnderCover, Shift, GRID, Prince of Persia, GTA San Andreas, Call of Duty World At War, Fallout 3, Avatar and Fifa 10. Now the problem is that all the new games are continuation of the old ones. I want new ones with good graphics and I don't want to play old ones even though they're good. I play mainly FPS and don't like RTS, RPG and racing. Which do you recommend me to play? BF:BC2 is not an option for me. I played FEAR 2 and its great. Only problem is that I can't get the story completely.

I thought about Bioshock 2, MassEffect 2 but same problem...

    Left 4 Dead (1 or 2)

Bioshock 2 was a waste of my time, basically bioshock 1 rehashed.

I am a fps addict but the below game is a value game that is so much fun.

plants vs zombies is a good time waster

How is the game? Good story? Very demanding on hardware? No touch on updates these days..

I haven't played Mass Effect 1. Do you think I can catch up with the story?

    No friends...:(

thats why I'm sick of racing lol:D

I've finished Left 4 Dead 1st part, will look into second...

Left 4 dead single player is boring compared to multiplayer, which has endless fun.

Games are always temporary fun, the key is to get a group of online friends that share the same interests and have them on your steam list so you can play the games together, for example I have a small group of friends on steam that I play CD\l4d\MW2 etc with and we always debate new games to buy and play together.

Sadly online games are loaded with dbags, and having a group to play with help that tremendously.

I am not that far into the game yet. So I can't tell you all about the story. So far though, I like it a lot. The game itself is gorgeous and can be quite demanding. I experience sudden FPS drops now and then.

Batman AA and L4D 2 seem good to me.

Another thing, do you recommend playing ME2, Bioshock 2 since I haven't played the first part..?

If you havet played first Mass Effect, then then buy it before getting ME2.

About BioShock2, it doesnt really matter because there isn't that much connection to first game and BioShock2 isn't worth buying imo.
