Thanks Cowie, I am HK here, snappy1 everywhere else, I put on 175 hwbot points in 3 nights of benching, and proudly snatched 3rd place from the russians the other night for 4870x2 CFX vantage 31210 W3540 @4.75 Ghz

Btw the cpu is a 3845B010

I used the same mobo,cpu, single stage and ram with two 3870x2's, 2 4870x2's and a 5870

Thanks mate, glad you got the Xeon ES, the retails have been so dissapointing compared , I have been hanging for one but I think I'll wait for a newer rev or Xeon retail, or try and get a Xeon ES myself, congrats

Darren, you got one! That's awesome man! Let me know how it rolls.. I've found that the i7 980x ES overclocks to 6.0ghz easily on the classified, however the xeon w3680 ES is also great! It's just not supported by the great overclocking mobos just yet.. I think in the end it will go further.. I just did some test runs tonight with vantage using the xeon at 5.50ghz and an overclocked 5870 lightning on LN2... A blast!! All my friends think I'm stupid.. Who cares!!!

Awesome Bodes WD mate I want one of those lightning cards lol. I noticed you xeon is a 1 stepping in cpu-z the one I'm getting is a 2 stepping will be interesting to see how it goes compared.

Cant wait to see if that chip is any different Darren! How are you going to cool it? LN2? DICE? PHASE?? I've noticed that 1.776v is good and stable with high clocks.. I can get even higher with up to 1.86v but if I dont cool the hell out of the chip I really lose cpu points..
