Well I'm not having too many issues getting into a game. I just can't stands the fact it will occasionally crash to the desktop when a match is over. I've lost almost 3 ranks worth of XP because of this bug!

 

I loved the first Bad Company on the 360 but decided to get BC2 for the PC as the two people I played the original with most aren't able to play as much as they used to. Thoroughly enjoying the campaign so far and multiplayer is an absolute blast.

My reaction-times are pretty diabolical but BC2 for me hearkens back to the days of BF2 where I'd spend the majority of my time as a medic. I'm doing the same with BC2; I know that when push comes to shove I'm not quick enough to do much killing but I can be really useful healing and reviving my team mates.

Only at rank six atm but have been the highest scorer (on my team and the whole game) a few times - just as in BF2 it's nice to be genuinely helpful in a support role as poor reactions needn't preclude you from having fun and being of use to your team!

You know you're doing your "job" well when someone on the other team starts complaining about "bull-**** medics" reviving the people he's shooting :nerd:

Server browser seems to be buggier than a flea-infested moose but other than that it runs like an absolute beaut.

 

The success this game is having tells me that the pc community would really like BF3 asap - i know i do!

 

I'd prefer to wait longer for BF3 so i can enjoy this one more first

So whats this about veteran status? I didn't know that existed, lol

 

we wont get BF3 untill we test the second beta game for this engine, aka: BF 1943.

imo thats what these two games are, a testing ground for the development of BF3 ...

I keep getting these now ... Any clue what is the problem ?

 

Yeah, I can login just fine, and the game browser is working OK, but everytime I click to join a server, I just get back a "connection to game server has been lost" error. *sigh*. I haven't played since Sunday afternoon and was hoping things would be a bit better now. They're apparently the same/worse.

 

Yes I am getting the same messages to every server I try to join, looks like the master server is over loaded or down.

 

I opened the BFBC2 folder and try to update it, says my files are corrupted and that I should reinstall the game ... lol

I hate you EA !!! Stop producing my favorite games !

It's tiresome to say the least.

Infact their whole website is running like total crap just now.

BF3 should be on Frostbite 2.0, not 1.0 (or 1.5) as BFBC2 and BF1943 are

However, the third installment (on PC) of Frostbite 1.0/5 is going to be Medal of Honor (2010) due out fall 2010, as i doubt that'll be on Frostbite 2.0

Looks like most of the engineer path is unlocked, still a few pistols and general stuff left but not that much.
(A couple of higher tier pistols like the revolver and those generic weapons like shotguns and rifles like the M14 and Garand though the latter might actually require prestige or veterancy or what it's called instead of just being a high end unlockable extra weapon.)

 

ubelieve me sp and mp performance is different. Even 16 slot and 32 slots performance r different. Maybe just in my pc.

 

I'm probably not the only one thinking that this game seriously needs some work on the weapons in MP. Basically they should follow in MAG's footsteps..... in that you shouldn't be able to snipe with weapons that aren't for sniping.... the Accuracy spec of the weapons should matter for something other than spray-n-pray kill-ability. Hate getting sniped by the THOUSANDS of people who play the game non-stop using a medic with an LMG.

 

any idea how to make server browser working with checked by me options?
I mean not empty all by default, is annoing stoppin this each time, and select all then pres search....is stupid, not only annoin...
