Man I had to force myself to stop playing! This game is freaking great. Glad I will have my paid version on Tuesday. To all of us who have the sneak peek demo please buy the game if you enjoy it to support a proper pc game!

Maybe you're talking about some kind of stuttering or?

Same here, even my FPS is above 40fps all the time, and still feels like it's lagging a bit :biggun:

Yea it is a stutter, probably due to the driver.

Yeah I was feeling the same thing during the beta. To me BFBC2 is just more fun. I did give MW2 a try at my friends on 360 and it's not a bad game but I'm not even going to try the PC version, ever.

Hmm I'm running the game now with everything on highest 1920x1200 DX10 ( litterally speaking ), 4x AA 16X AF, HBAO on, bloom off, sound=high, wartapes on and geting 47-60 fps all the time, most often 60 fps.

Sometimes the HBAO bugs a bit and starts flickering, but you solve it by turning it off and on, nothing a patch wouldnt fix I guess.

Game runs really good for me, and this beeing the leaked version wich is probably not patched.

The graphics in this game is like a hybrid between crysis 1 and farcry2..real pretty and not that hard on the PC.

/edit The leaked version has the high resolution textures that where missing in the PC Beta.

it "works" it just doesn't "work", for instance, it kept my frames under around 63fps, not 60, which is how it's supposed to be, but i got screen tearing

I'm gonna try the game (when it comes out) with triple buffering through D3Doverride

Crossfire is bugged, flashing water hope the update is out soon. Deleted the beta but wonder if using the beta .exe would fix it? Anyone still got it?

DX11 is a bit odd, get the odd random stutter for no reason where the fps will dip to 54 from 60 and back again. DX10 does not have this weird dip/stutter. It is random, you could be starting at the sky and it will do it.

still not sure if i want PC or PS3..... and i don't have much time to decide.

Although.... since i'm really thinking about going Fermi, i wouldn't doubt eVGA having a deal where if you buy a card, you get BC2 for free.

Does anyone know if there are any comparison screen shots of BC2, comparing DX10 to DX11?

I doubt there is really any difference, pretty sure I read that the DX11 features are purely in the game for performance increases.

DX11 has smoother shadows, no jagged edges. That is it.

nope no planes, but I really don't see how you would really get them in the game due to map size.

Now that I don't know. I was just using the beta map as a reference. I won't know for sure until Tuesday.

Well, who knows what the future will hold. Some maps in SP are really fing huge, like the desert maps, could easily fit some warthogs and fighter planes in those. But generally speaking I doubt we will ever see planes in BC2, it is simply not balanced to have people zooming around in the sky with 400 dollar joysticks pounding up ground troops.

But who knows, there deffo are maps in SP that could hold planes and other arial vehicles.
