does these give the black screen with graphics distortion on COmapny of heroes?
i don´t rember if it was the previous drivers or the ones before.

BNut when playing the first mission on COH the screen goes allblack if i look up the screen so when i fight the gerrys and liberate the barn house then it all goes jibberish on me

hope you understand what i mean :)

ccc information reports 9.10 for me, even if all other numbers are like the screenshot of the thread opener.

still getting GSODs at stock clocks by the way, 750/1125 running fine.

But don't know who needs such a thing...when the card is equal to 5870 and is clocking almost @ same speed levels.....

The drivers seem good to me anyhow, more stable than the 10.2 which had crashed on me a few times in mass effect (thank god for quick saves) playing Mass effect 2 now and a lot smoother with ssaa, can even push up to x8, better frame rate to the eye.

The trouble I have with this package is the scaling and 24hz bug, that reared its ugly head again, no joy even when using the scaling controls in ccc. The solution was to install the 10.2 package minus the driver, then manually install the driver from this package via device manager. I like this driver so far.....thanks for sharing :)

Synthetic benchmarks only say so much, either way, your 5850 is still slower than a 5870 in vantage.

Your card scored 15k, a 5870 gets around 17k by itself at stock.

Either way, a 5870 will perform better than a 5850 is most games regardless of a vantage score.

You're right if they are at the same clocks.
But I also went for a 5850 and oc it to 850/1200 and save $100 in my pocket.
Difference are only a few fps in games @same clocks.(850/1200)

    I call this User Failure.
I haven't got any BSOD or any problem at all with this.

LOL and once again we have people bashing ATI on a leaked driver!

Think before you post blaming ATI please. This is a leaked "Preview" driver, mostly with enhancements for HD 5 series. Stick to the officials if you run into issues.

Seriously, you can't expect a LEAKED PREVIEW driver to be solid as a rock on all cards.

My card is scoring 22k+ points....i don't care about default speeds, i just gave them, cos someone want to compare it with 725/1000....
We have discussed hundred times the difference @ same clocks between them both - it's about 1%, average 2.5% and max difference is less than 5% with FullHD and 4/8AA 16AF max Quality....

I still cannot understand why only people with 5870 are complaining about the great difference @ def speeds ;)
