Does anyone have a problem when they set their refresh rate to 75hz? My core clock will jump to 400mhz, isn't it possible to keep it at idle 157mhz? This increase causes my temps to go up by 5c and fan to spin up.

I modded my bios to get rid of that 157/300 state and crazy low 0.9v on the core, it gave me all sorts of 2d corruption, it's now set at 400/900 idle + 2d load and whatever I set for 3d, only had it a day and its awesome! If anyone want a copy of the bios just let me know via pm, Its an asus unlocked with my own little tweak:)

(I know there are others out there but I wasnt sure weather to download due to malware etc so I did it)
    cheers

I'm (luckily) in this minority as well.

I had 2 single, isolated GSOD crashes, within 30 minutes, shortly after I had installed the 10.1 betas and reverted back.

Since reinstalling the 2/10 released drivers after a clean, EVERYTHING is as it was for the entire month before- ROCK solid.

And while my system is used a lot for AE video editing, I am an AVID gamer, so I have been putting it through it's paces in Crysis, WH, MW/MW2, Hawx, HL2, OF2...So it's not like I haven't given it ample oppurtunity to crash.

I moved to 8.70 RC2 and everything it's great; if this ones are the continuation of those, and 10.2 are based on this ones; you just install them or either wait for the release; won't be much difference anyways

ibitato, these work even better then the 8.70 RC2's

i only have a small bug in Serious Sam HD, but that could easily be the game itself. Awesome Drivers IMO!!

Download the 10.2 WHQL and see if any components are more recent, if nothing just keep 10.2 nonWHQL.
(Unsure what differs from 8.70.2 WHQL to these 8.70.3 drivers though.)

EDIT: 8.70.3 has newer CCC and drivers, Installed 10.2 WHQL first and then this over it, unsure what's changed but it's up to date atleast, heh.
(Alien vs Predator works quite well with these as does Battleforge, still nothing compared to a 5870 or so though.)

nvidia kinda does this, if a BETA driver works well, theyll just make that BETA certified for WHQL, itll be the same driver but just have that label

Checked the .dll files with a hex editor (Search word .exe) the 8.70.3 drivers have profiles for Empires2.exe (Napoleon total war?) and Conviction_Game.exe (Obvious what this is.) so that might be the difference, it's not the most recnet profile though (Those generally appear higher up.) as that's Heaven.exe but it's been there since the 10.1 release I think. (Unigine benchmark, still it's part of the changelog so it might have been improved upon, particularly Crossfire.)
