Installing 10.1 whql and then this one over the top seems to stabilize it, and reset factory default after all installing and stream last. That combination install hasnt given me any freezes.

I have tried the 10.1 hotfix with my 5770, and it works well.

Meh didn't fix the problem and BFBC2 beta runs like crap now... back to 10.1, at least they perform nice in between of crapping out.

Ati states that these drivers only fix 5800 cards. 5700 are supposed to be fixed later.
My 5970 still crash with these, so I'm in the same boat, no fix either.

i installed these on my card... it disabled Powerplay, which is a very good thing. so no down clocking when im not in a game, which means no stupid ass artifacts because of this dumb thing ATI made

After only purchasing Nvidia cards for so long I decided this time I will try ATI for the first time. Boy did I make a big mistake, I have never ever seen this level of instability before and even with my Nvidia cards at least when it crashed it crashed out gracefully (in Vista and Windows 7).

This card (5770) randomly runs fine for a little while and then it will start to slow down and then either the game becomes so unplayable that I just have to quit or I get the wonderful stripe screen of death and I have to hard reset the computer.

NOT impressed ATI, NOT impressed at all, I think from now on I will stick with NVidia cards. :bang:

Dirt 2 is crashy anyways, there's a patch coming to fix it. Can't blame ATI for that, it crashes after a while on mine too.

I lowered the memory from 1300 to 1250 and played for almost 3 hours without a single issue. Something tells me that is from memory overclocking and not drivers...

Im starting to get a bit pissed off that every time I log on here theres another 2-3 more having issues with grey screens, tearing etc Ati better get their act together or theres possibly a lot of mass RMA'ing on the horizon, hmm fermi anyone?
This is coming from an ATI fan so dont be brutal when I say that, Its just issue after issue at the moment and it's no good for gamers who just want to play.
I was nearly proud of my cfx setup, sniff..

Do you still have issues if you run your pc totally at stock?
