Guys, I still want to beat this game, especially now with the new ENB Series. With all the latest drivers I get flashing textures :3eyes: (especialy the lights and some shadows), it doesn't matter if the game is modded or not, I still get this annoing flashing. Can you help me on this? Wich driver works good with this game. I remember it was a time as I didn't have this problem. Sorry for my bad english
if this game i legal then you need to know tha rockstar has the worst developing in this software....i have some problems too...and suckssssss
try 185.68 the modded geforce driver from some guy named dox, docks or whatever I don't know but anyway his modded 185.68 has been great for GTA4 on a SLI set up. absolutely no flickering. However, core i7 + gtx 285 alone can handle GTA4 beautifully. I don't think u need SLI for GTA4 give'em a break:grin:
I'm not complaining about the performance guys, I even modded the game to have 3x more cars and pedestrians and distance view for them all. I just hate this **** flashing thing
I still think this game needs further optimization and another patch to clear thinks up. Even with 196 drivers patch with 1.0.0.4 it still stutters in certain areas of the game and especially when it''s raining. I am buying Fermi as soon as it comes out but I don't think my quad phenom is up to the task may buy an i7 just to play this game smoothly.
I am being positive and thinking that's their plan. gives them a few more months after the November patch.
