Don't use these drivers with Crysis! It'll crash!

Oh do you have 2 different stock settings? That sucks bad ! Yea we cannot OC anything at all. Nvidia will either release quick fix Betas or OC programs will fix it...

Thanks spine. I hadn't used Nibitor in so long I had completely forgotten about it since the last few times I tried to use it there was no proper support for my hardware at the time. I've gotten all the necessary files, installed the 195.81 drivers, modded my voltage, and am now going to find my maximum overclock before flashing then updating to the 196's. Thanks again this is bringing out my inner geek I haven't gotten to use in awhile.

    Killing Floor Max(1280x1024) 40-100
    Crysis 1280x1024 all high with AA2 = 45-70, when fighting 30's.
    Bioshock 1280x1024 all max dx9 settings = 52-90
So far so good, seems to be stable. :)

Use riva tuner or something and don't OC at all. or go back to the older drivers.

This driver just made my Dirt 2 runs slower. I went back to 195.62 since I'm just a single card user. I guess I'll have to skip this driver and wait for a better one. Also, the system information in the nvidia control panel is less detailed on 196.21.

As mentioned by spine, if you know your card's best OC by heart, flash your clocks/fan settings to the BIOS. Problem permanently solved...

And if you have the technical know-how to do it. Don't play with fire kids.

Also, not every driver is everyone. If you haven't learned that by now you should probably stick to the console systems :puke2:

What we need here is a thumbs up/thumbs down count for a drive release... I wonder if Hilbert can make something up to at least see where we stand on a majority good/bad of a release.

That is a good idea, if the thread starter could attach a poll to the thread that would actually be really good, but at the same time more people with problems would likely vote because they would have more reason to voice their resentment. Bit of a conundrum.

FYI, turning down water quality resolves the issue with the 190 series drivers, believe it or not.

Overclocking is broken for me as well, everything reset and Shaders is blacked out in Precision and Afterburner. Clocks default when OC is attempted.

Havent tried gaming yet as i loved my 800 1900 1333 Overclock and cant get it back :(

But guess ill see how it does in games.

    This.

Anyone else having this issue? One GPU stays stuck in 3D mode after playing a game. This has been happening in every single 195.xx and now this one.

    191.xx doesn't have the issue.

Ive installed these and all good so far..

    BUT

HD video on YT is not as smooth as it was now. Seems the flash player 10.1 still has some bugs??

These drivers work fine for me, same performance as the last set. Once EVGA Precision is updated to support these driver everything should be fine.
