Do Source game such as TF2, L4D2 lag with a significant fps drop after a map change with SLI enabled?

Just tested this in fact. Problem is finally gone on L4D2 with my GTX 295. But like everyone else, overclocking is broken on RivaTuner. No shader clock, fan profiles are still working however.

God Dammit! Still no SLI support for OFDR! What the hell?

That's it, I'm getting out my pitchforks and my torches and leading an angry mob up to Nvidia to demand they properly support OFDR already. Who's with me?!

Best driver for my 9800GT that I have as my physx card. Before I only got like 2300points in PhysxMark bench, with these I get over 6000points. Me so happy, me me so happy!! :D Dont know if they are good for others for graphics, but for physx these are super great!

DIRT 2 works awesome here, 1920x1080, 4xAA, everything as high as it can go for DX9, and it's a *constant* 60fps v-synced. Perfect!

On the other hand, as already mentioned, STILL no SLI support for OFDR (it defaults to "single-gpu"). However, as with past drivers, forcing AFR2 enables SLI and gives 120fps+.

Also, the problem of the second GPU getting stuck on 3D clocks after playing a game is still there.

I can't Overclock now with this driver I will go back to 195.62.

However there is amazing SLI scaling in dirt2 from 47fps avg and 38fps min now it is 89fps avg and 70fps min(1920x1200, 4xAA, ultra)

Regarding the several dozen posts that EVGA Precision and MSI Afterburner are broken/not working 100%: Unwinder is aware of the problem and it only affects the shader clock control - everything else like fan control is still working fine:

Anyone know if these drivers allow 3d vision (v195.62) to work? Seems there are no updated 3D vision drivers yet.

2D/3D clock switching still bugged for one of the GPU.

This drivers should not be WHQL, they still have many bugs, answer is FERMI, they not care about older series. Sad NVidia...:puke2: I will wait for modded drivers.

    Enjoy the waiting.

As for me, these new 196.21 drivers are great, everything works fine, and I'm not sure if it's a placebo effect, I'll need to benchmark it with FRAPS to be sure, but I think I've noticed smoother game-play in Dawn of War II's The Last Stand mode which I've just finished (just one game) to test the drivers a little bit, or it was related to good overall pings from the two other players, but the drivers are good nonetheless.
