  5. your 5870 is clocked at over 1ghz and ur cpu is at 4.5, these will both raise ur gpu score. when i overclocked my cards on 9.12 hotfix i got around 23k @910mhz on the 5850s

I have a weird problem with these drivers, somehow my Benq V2400W doesnt turn off when the the OS is trying to turn it off after 15 mins... Sleep mode did work, but normal "turn off display after xx time" doesnt work, it just doesnt show anything (all black, but clearly its staying on)... :(

After the last rigmarole i had to go through getting this HD5770 going in the first place i think i might be better off staying away from beta drivers i'll wait till the finals up at ati's website

Ok it definately was the driver, after a long long fight I gave up and rolled back to 9.12 hotfix, and Boom, stand by mode works again.

Too bad, I did seem to be running slightly better than with the hotfixes... :(

Do I need to click on this folder called Bin64 and then click setup and install?
    How does it work?

  17. hey guys ive been running these drivers for a few days now and i've found a couple of things - firstly, they game awesomely!...however theres a few things effecting my 5850 xfire set up so i'd like to know if anyone else is experiencing this with this driver.

I already can see that others are experiencing the monitor not going to sleep mode ( it just goes black but its still on ) the other thing im finding is it wont run DX10???...for example, i can open unigine, i can run dx9 all day long, but if i select dx10 or 11 when i launch it it'll do exactly what it does when the monitor is supposed to go to sleep, it'll go black but still be on. So open task manager to find the game has errored.

This happens also in Assassin's creed - i can launch the dx9 exe no problem but the dx10 exe simply black screens.

I reinstalled dx just to be sure, ive run dxdiag and all is fine.

Anyone had these issues? particularly if you run a 5 series card or xfire.

Switched to the MSI driver after the AMD one gave me a red screen of death. Sigh. Anyway these seem better, and give me a constant 25-30fps in Crysis Warhead on Enthusiast. Which is lovely for my kind of spec machine.

^ Enthusiast for Crysis Warhead on a 5770. You're joking, right or the resolution is low.
