When will crysis 2 and Diablo 3 be released?

Especially for crysis 2 I think it will be a pure dx11 game with tess unlike games unlike dirt 2.


As for diablo 3 graphically it won't be that intense but hopefully the game play is good.

My bet is that none in 2010 and I find crysis 2 being released sooner than d2

Late this year for Crysis 2 and literally anytime for Diablo III, and by that I mean anytime between probably 2012 and forever beyond, it's Blizzard we're talking about, and this isn't even exaggeration, I wouldn't be surprised if once arrived in late 2011 they decide to delay it until summer or late 2012, if not even later.

For Crysis 2 the scans posted in the games thread says sometime between October to December this year so for now it's a rough estimation that it might be out around the holiday session of 2010 unless of course it's delayed.

Diablo 3 doesn't have a set release date but it's estimated to be out around 2011 with Star-Craft 2 (First episode of it atleast.) and the third WoW expansion being Blizzard's releases in 2010.

Indeed Blizzard has other priorities, like milking WoW some more. Anyway, if you ask me none will make it before 2011.

 

We will be lucky to see SCII this year, I am still waiting on SCII beta.

By the time crysis 2 is out in late 2010 i wonder what new hardware would have been out. dx11 would probably be more normalized. Fermi would have been out most likely and those drivers would have stabilized the 5000 series.


Btw what's taking diablo 3 so long to come out?

They already posted screen shots and game play on the net.

 

Also Crysis 2 is not pure DX11 , actually its not DX11 at all.

Also , before you see any real DX11 game , your hardware will be obsolete and too slow.

 

have to agree with this. There is no love in bleeding edge technology. Don't expect developers to give much attention beyond dx9 until the next consoles get released, probably 2011-2012.
The percentages of gamers who own dx10/11 capable hardware is still extremely low
