    Thanks.

    They are for Win7/Vista x86/x64.

Everyone should do a custom install and chose not to install 'Theater Driver', if you did just go to Control Panel and delete the device, unless you have some sort of ATI capture/tv device.

Would anyone be kind enough to upload it. That single link is going to take 2 hours.

Looks like this is a preliminary support for it.

There might be some hope for it.

Actually, I think there's hope for it because I can't find that atiapfxx.exe in my ATI Technologies folder in C:\Program Files (x86) folder. I even searched for it in the 64-bit Program Files folder as well. I have the official 9.12 Hotfix installed on top of the actual 9.12 as well so that means that this atiapfxx is added on recently.

I can't find this file in the original, that means this release might be testing a possible ATi application profile support.

    1) dirt 2 it's the first launch game for hd5000 series because of dx11 support
    2) i play this game with only onboard camera, and it's a very nice effect

so it's normal to be angry that with a $$$$$$ top card and the dx11 launch game BUNDLED, i can't play with all of it's feautures.

Well the driver seems smooth enough. Tested with a variety of games, new and old and no big issues so far. Don't think this driver is related to cat 10.1 though, most likely just another 9.12 version..???.

I did a clean install from 9.12 hotfix to this. One strange thing.. My windows experience index went down from 7.2 to 7.1 with this driver ( GPU+3D performance).

Don't worry about the windows experience index giving wonky numbers. WEI gives my card a 6.0 for Aero & a 6.0 for 3D acceleration (or whatever the 2 ratings are related to 3D).

Though Cryis and all other games in my collection are buttery smooth.

Hotfix gives a rating of 6. Straight 9.12s give me a rating of 7.7

They are newer then 9.12 ;)

They show the 9.12 in CCC cause or the previous install of Catalist drivers.
This version don't come with Catalist version in CCC.

If you would of install them on clean system with no previous drivers you would not get any version to show in CCC.

Beta drivers don't carry a Catalyst package number and will show what ever package number you previously had installed.

Catalyst 10.1 will be based off these, or possibly 8.69.

I had 9.12 CCC installed previous, I used this new installer to remove the old installation and then manually removed the driver from device manager, deleting the driver software during the uninstall, and then rebooted, allowed the system to install the VGA driver and then proceeded to install this new build.

I have no previous CCC showing in CCC
