worst tech demo ever..... so there in mass production now but yet nvidia still havent released stats? fail.
I am sorry, but this demo is not much better than Flatout 1! which came out ages ago. And it is very laggy! with tri-sli!! WTF
stupid tech demo, they just rub in the face the fact that they have Physx... to bad 80% of games are still made on Havok and where are the benches? scared they cannot stand up to the competition?
They aren't stupid enough to release numbers on beta drivers esp since the release is 3 months away just to shut up a couple of internet trolls.
give me o3 or vantage so we see for ourselves how good it is....not that it would mean much to most besides me lol.
from the youtube comments ::::: good one....... I hope they come out Ok, we need competition.........
I find it pretty impressive that the sled is actually made up of individual components via PhysX. Now imagine that applied to all those little barrels etc in games ;D
While the demo is on the short side, it does what it's intended to do. Show off what the card can do.
Wow would you look at that nvidia cards running PhysX .....oh wait wtf, tell me something everyone doesnt already know about and do it in way that blows my mind.... that took 3 fermi cards then crashed..... maybe we are getting our first look at the thermal issues caused by three of these cards. It did't look like a very large or well cooled case... I guess they don't want to give us any real numbers until the drivers are perfect.... Whenever that might be.. anytime now.... I mean seriously we are talking about their flagship GPU and it took 3 of them to run that tech demo?
Yes, but... This is Fermi... in Triple-SLI... I had imagined with all the hype that it'd be able to do this as a single card. :3eyes:
1. Nobody says this can't be done on a single Fermi. 2. They were all 3 watercooled so this can't be a heat issue, most likely drivers. 3. Since everything in the demo is made of single components all interacting via physx makes this for a pretty impressive video
How do we even know that was really 3 Fermi’s? It could have been 3 260’s running a bench in DX10 for all we know, I would like to see the inside of that case please… At least show us 3 Fermi’s and the Heaven Benchmark so we can see some smooth frame rates minus any actual number… Throw me a fricken bone here is this really all we get at CES?
1. No one has said but evidence suggest that atm we cant do this on one Fermi or why wouldn’t they just do that? 3 of the most high end video card ever made are needed to run this demo? Fail…. 2. Didn’t nvidia already state that running 3 of these would cause ‘thermal issues’ no one said anything about water cooled or not…. Fail 3. I would be impressed if they ran fluid mark and set a new world record…3 Fermi’s yes 3 of them. I would be impressed with one of them running this demo but 3?....Fail
Child, open your eyes, Unglue your fingers from the F A I L buttons. This is CES, they might just use that PC for more than just one thing. Three fermi's are in there, maybe there's gonna be a 3D Vision demo running on it. Maybe they plug that rig into three DLP projectors for 3D Vision on 120" surface. We don't know. You're as clueless as the rest of us, and talk crap ten times as much.
