Straight from the horses PR mouth, I will let you guys make your own mind up! http://www.donanimhaber.com/Video.aspx?Id=1415
Now that is potentially believable, because if it isn't any good he will look like a complete tit, and nobody likes looking like a tit.
if it was so good then due to the delay they'd be giving us figures, besides ATI will have 2nd gen DX11 cards out by them, cant believe Nvidia have taken so long.
What are you basing that on? Roadmaps say the next gen of ati cards will come out by the end of 2011, nvidia will likely have theirs out by then as well, if you think the 'NEW!!' low end dx11 ati cards coming out in q1 are next gen, then you are mistaken.
U praise ur product always for the Investors and for Hype even if its bad its a normal business practice we will wait and see
Already posted in frontpage news http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=311989 http://www.guru3d.com/news/nvidia-is-savvy-with-fermi-performance/ And in this Fermi thread http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=311607&page=7
He's just obviously making a slight stretch in the light of how long Nvidia is taking to release their next gen GPUs. Also, the first thing you learn when watching and expecting releases in the technology world is never, I mean NEVER take a roadmap without a grain of salt. Hopefully, for the consumers, the Nvidia GPUs are very strong. This will only drive the price down on the ATI product which is clearly a beast in its own right which means affordable high end graphics cards available to many. If not, we have another potential 2900XT scenario again. Exactly.
supposedly ATi's new architecture will be ready towards the Q4 of 2010, though i can't remember for the life of me where to locate the source
I stand corrected, I plead insanity and on that basis, I wish for leniance in the form of lubrication being used
LOL, you guys just had to quote the image, now we've got three consecutive posts with teh same "YOU MAD" @dchalf10: that ain't how i roll, ask flawlez but yea, surprising that ATi has already planned that far ahead, it can only mean that they were working on the Evergreen and Hecatoncheires at the same time and completed the Evergreen first
QFT. It would seem ATI learned their lesson from the ass kicking they received from the HD2000/HD3000 battles vs 8800/9800. Only time will tell how 2010 pans out in the GPU world.
Glad to see they're still high jk I think Fermi will have a good run of it. However, if ATI hits the 6xxx line before December 2010 then that will almost certainly mean that ATI will have had two consecutive Christmas & new years seasons with the leading chip. ATI is yielding to nvidia only during the summer shopping season.
unfortunately, knowing nvidia, they'll have good performance and will be stupidly priced. Although time will tell
