I'd expect Maclaren to do well this season. They dealt with the extra weight of the kers system towards the end of the season and become competitive again. With the kers removed that weight is now going to be used for fuel. That puts them ahead of the other teams who have new extra weight to deal with.
Yeah but they are also 0.4 secs a lap slower without the kers right off the bat as well. It isn't that cut and dry to tell who will be faster next year.
As Expected: Michael Schumacher signs up for F1 return with Mercedes http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/formula_one/8427552.stm
Let's see... if Mercedes GP will keep up the good work and provide a car as good as they did for Jenson, there are high chances that Michael might get a world championship, again!
YESSS it is confirmed Schumi will go along with Mercedes Brawn GP next year. http://www.bild.de/BILD/sport/motor...hael-schumi-schumacher-comeback-moeglich.html http://www.formula1.com/news/headlines/2009/12/10301.html GOGOGOGOGO Schumi. Brawn & Schumi WILL DELIVER:banana: And an image to get use with, only difference will be the color:nerd:.
While his uncle is more famous, his father was a good motorcycle rider. He was killed while testing out one of Ayrton's motorcycles just a short time after Ayrton himself had died.
hahaa schumacher wont win championship id like to see him win a race tho but really 2 years of the tracks is big and the cars changed quite alot since then... and rules too...
I wonder how many Schumacher fans will turn up with the old Schumacher-Ferrari caps, shirts and flags coming season...that alone should piss off Alonso tremendously lol.
and suddenly I am very very interested in Formula 1 again. Yeah the cars have changed and yeah the rules have changed and will be changing again before 2010 kicks off but Brawn and Schumacher back together again. Say what you like but that combo dominated F1 for half a decade and would have dominated even longer had they not moved to Ferrari after 2 consecutive World Championships. A 3 year deal, could imagine if he added another 3 titles to the ones he's got? Chances are we would never see the records he set broken in our life time as it was but if he goes on to dominate as he did with Ferrari then... well.
So the Mercedes GP livery was launched yesterday, displayed on a Brawn 2009 car. IMHO, It's quite bland, which doesn't surprise me with Mercedes lol. Nothing huge going on, rumours of Rossi switching to F1 after a test with Ferrari, And anounced today, the latest in a string of pointless rule changes: I guess it makes it a bit more interesting for the viewer and competitive on the grid but hey.
McLaren and Ferrari Launched, It really it quite interesting how different the cars aero designs are:
The Williams car looks good and they seem pretty confident. Renault's looks striking. No videos then ?
