That's Würzburg, the city in which the X-rays were discovered by Roentgen, for example. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Würzburg http://www.wuerzburg.de/en/index.html
Really nice city! I've spent most of my time in Bavaria when I've visited Germany excellent place! I have to point out though in that wiki article you posted lol I quote: "Massacres of Jews took place in 1147 and 1298 and expulsions throughout the Middle Ages. In the period of ***** rule, almost the whole Jewish and Gypsy population of the city was wiped out." lol three different times they have tried to exterminate ze Jews out of that town lol! thats a kick right there, but its still looks like an amazing beautiful town
There's absolutely nothing to "lol" about, Supatitanman. Please refrain from continuing a discussion of this topic in this thread.
I am from Germany and i like it. As already said most germans do speak english at least in the western part of Germany but seriously if you want to stay here for longer you need to learn the german language and thats quite a task. And forget about all the nice or bad things about germany you heard from the media because most of it is not true. But if you got the money or a nice job in germany don´t hesitate and come over. May i ask why you want to move? I find it quite funny because the only country i would move to is Canada
Have to say i'm sorry to hear that. As with other countries there's no 'general' German, so saying that 'they' hate the English is pretty stupid. You can meet odd ppl all around the globe, but don't let that shock you.
