Whatever it is, the population is not used to seeing it THUS someone that thinks he knows about this is bull****ting us
It was just confirmed on the news that it was a Russian long-distance missile launch from a u-boat that went wrong.
hmm it's not clear to me what the chronology of the event was but it seems like upper atmosphere winds would tear apart any spiral exhaust trail in short order...I bet they can't repeat that lol wonder why they waited so long to detonate it
^ well that was the orig pic, watch the video in the first post:nerd: why you need it? is it so hard to believe?
Yeh, that's the missile. It failed and made a big Catherine Wheel in the sky. Happens all the time. EDIT: I told ya' we need a sarcasm font here.
http://translate.google.com/transla...utskytning-fra-ubaat-3052536.html&sl=no&tl=en the theory is that the blue light is NOK from the rocket and the spiral is ice rings like you see around the moon sometimes...except since light propogates out in all directions uniformly wouldn't it make concentric circles or a spiraling rocket would make concentric circles that oscillate not a spiral?
TV 2 afternoon news via sources in the Russian military. Makalu posted a translated link from their website: http://translate.google.com/transla...utskytning-fra-ubaat-3052536.html&sl=no&tl=en
The comments on The Sun are absolutely hilarious. Here's a good one: Right.... And even better: That made me cry. With laughter Also, I doubt it was a misfired missile. If I was in the Russian military, I'd claim to have insight knowledge about it as well, just for the heck of it. :infinity:
^ sounds logical, but still it could contain some kind of radioactive fuel in it to power it no?, and when it exploded or what ever happened to it, it released some "radioactive particles" into the atmosphere?
